There's a nice little pool (bit on cool side for babies) and grounds, with a small play area at the cafe located nextdoor. The k..."ids loved paddling at the little beach and drawing in the sand. This place is ideally located as the train station is a short walk away. We enjoyed spotting geckos and spring flowers along the way. The transport museum is worth a visit and hugely interactive for little children (30SF per adult - everything is expensive in Switzerland!) It has a Lido located next door which I imagine would be fun in summer. There is also a dinosaur park a short drive away. Lucerne is three stops on train (again train travel is dearer than UK).
