The town it's self is an old school style sl..."eepy Mallorca town, really enjoyable to walk around and explore - there's a few shops and cafes and a pretty nice Spanish pub - you can soak up some serious Spanish culture - There's not too much else to do in the town that I could see, but Palma and other areas are just a short drive and I was wasn't here to be beaching or shopping. The hotel itself was Astounding for the value.. the hotel is a quaint little family run converted mansion that blends in seamlessly with the rest of the town... once in side the hotel has an amazing atmosphere, all original beam and very "Mallorcan homely". Algaida is a small country town with a handful of ok restaurants around the square yet only 30 mins or so on the very cheap bus (actually a comfy coach) to Palma.
