  "We enjoyed staying here as it caters for all tastes. The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. All rooms have a lovely sea view. There are great facilities too so suitable for all ages. The breakfasts were lovely - literally had a million options and you could get eggs made by a chef. Only bad ..."experience was the buffet dinner - it was quite pricey and the food was cold. There were no burners lit warming the food. The friendly and efficient waiter did try and bring us warmer food, however, it was still pretty cold. The resort is a 20 min free shuttle ride (arranged by hotel) out of Odawara but it is a pleasant drive along the coast and it is quite nice being out of town and seeing that amazing coastline. There is wifi but you have to pay 500 yen for 2 hours and it is only in the lobby - 2 of the 3 times we tried to use it their server was down. Most of the guests seemed to be there for a family or spa vacation.   "We wanted to try something the opposite of Tokyo/Yokohama and decided on the Hilton Odawara Resort and Spa primarily due to the many family activities available on-site. The hotel is easily accessible from Nebukawa Station on the JR Tokaido Line. Check-in was simple and we were driven to our cottage suite via an extended golf cart, which was nice given it was around 2130 and we were tired. Room. A very nice two-floor cottage suite. Upstairs had a nice view of Sagami Bay and consisted of the bathroom and living area. Downstairs were the twin beds and an 8-tatami room with Japanese dining table and seating that could be converted to additional sleeping area with provided futons.
