  "This is a really god spot in Trysil to stay if you are there for the Norwegian ski experience. The hotel is located just by the slopes and it has all the necessities you would need. It´s new and modern and it has a folklore twist to the design. The breakfast buffé is great, free parking, nic..."e SPA with saunas and different choices of pools (indoor and outdoor), nice lobby area with bar, good views, secure ski room, friendly staff, good after ski with entertainment and it is extremely clean in the common areas BUT not in our hotel room since they "FORGOT" to clean during the weekend we were there. When I pointed this out I only got a lame sorry. Getting your room cleaned and your bed made in the mornings is the thing you want when you book yourself into a hotel. That´s a part of the whole experience. If it hasn´t been for this it would have been a spot on weekend away.   "What a fantastic mountain and in Park Inn you can almost touch the top of it"
  "OK - minuses first: small room (king double - no chance!), cold bathroom (they forced blocked the temperature regulator!), nothing complementary (was missing bathrobe the most of all to go to the pool and back), not enough wardrobes (we really struggled what to do with our wet clothes after skiing -..." no hooks, just a tiny rack in a wardrobe, nowhere to hang wet swimming trunks either), we did not have either a desk or a chair, choice of TV channels boring, no TV on demand, small kids' play room (with almost no toys), no vegetables on kids menu in their restaurant & bar, you have to pay the access to the swimming pool, no spaces for sledging for smaller kids (or tired parents), not possible to book some excursions (like horse and dog sledge rides for they were booked well advance - when & how to do it in advance?!). There is not much to do except all day skiing - no local market e.g., not even a souvenir shop (oh!). Pluses: A great location (!!!) - on no too urban side of this FANTASTI... " More >

  "I loved the park inn, it was very warm and welcoming the staff spoke very good English and the hotel was massive with a great spa and great food. The hotel layout was very confusing at first then it gets easy to remember. My only downside that the fire alarm went off twice in one week! I would come ..."back for sure.
