Room was clean, quiet and restful. Enjoyed the large shower space. Bring your flip-flops, the carpet is a bit tacky. Maybe too much soap? Only a cold breakfast is offered and no morning newspaper was delivered at the room door. For the price of the room, was hoping for more.

Hotel was okay - staff not so friendly or helpful - the location was good - close to restaurants & stores - but I really think I would find another place to stay next time we visit our daughter at Acadia - somewhere that is a little friendlier

Had a wonderful stay at the New Minas Slumber Inn. Very clean, updated, comfortable bed in a spacious room. It has a newer style larger shower...we seldom ever use a tub so having a tub is not that important to us. Great to see Shampoo, conditioner & Soap dispensers in shower & sink area...being environmentally conscious! We were there on... More

We stayed one night in this hotel. The rooms were ok, kind of small and only a shower in the bathroom for the price (over $100), however, when we turned off the television to go to sleep, you could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the next room and the room on top of our room. We were on... More

Room had a stale smell even before the hockey gear got into it.Two very small beds for three people adds up to be a very uncomfortable sleep, could not get the room temp regulated, no extra cots, breakfast is included but all cold nothing hot.Staff was not very friendly.Overall SUCKS even for the rate charged. :(

While the rooms are clean, they only offer single beds in their 'double' rooms. We travel to Kentville at least once a year for hockey tournaments and due to some unforeseen circumstances could not stay at our normal hotel. Kentville is quite small and this was our only other option. The staff were rude, especially the front desk clerk, and... More

Location was convenient. The quietest hotel ever, probably thanks to the sign outside each door stating the hours for the noise policy. It wasn't worth the walk to get the continental breakfast. This needs to be improved or dropped from the list of amenities.

grab a room here asap when you arrive - whether it be dropping off a student family member in the area or whether you are vacationing. you can't go wrong with 'the slumber inn'. it isclean, reasonably priced and it is the only show in town. i would have expected more than just b&b's in a town housing a university... The Slumber Inn had very clean rooms with super comfortable beds. However, the towels were a bit thin and small. The breakfast was very good with choices of baked goods, cereals, yoghurt and great coffee. The hotel has a night time quiet policy as well. But the best thing about this hotel was the honesty of the people working there.... More

Slumber inn is a good place to spend a night but is a stop over, not a destination. Being 65 years old I was happy to get a room on the first floor as it is getting harder for me to climb stairs carrying luggage. It turns out that the lobby is ground level, but they call that level two,... More
