Excuse my digression from a foodie review of a lovely Brasserie porch experience with a comment on the unhappy hotel guests who would prefer Stratford next time. Well I think sadly you speak before you experience and you may find a higher price and even lower service in the Festival City. I am a local. My experience with Westover is... More

We chose this property to stay during a recent trip because we noted that it was a member of th Finest Country Inns association and that the website made it sound charming. Though we knew that we were opting for a smaller room, we expected that the $140/ night price meant that we'd at least have charming decor. Instead our... More

The food at the restaurant was excellent. The rooms were good, we stayed in the cottage. The staff were excellent and very friendly. I would definately recommend this hotel and the proximity to the festival was great.

We only had 2 nights to get away and the Westover Inn was perfect! The staff was very helpful, the grounds are romantic, (and slightly mysterious). What was that old abandoned house used for and what does the old chapel look like inside? Why isn't it used anymore? The breakfast both days was very nice! Dinner was lovely! Thank you!

Like a breath of calm, cleansing air (despite being just down the road from St. Mary's Cement), this inn is the ideal setting for actors (Christopher Plummer is no stranger) and critics (myself) alike. While not soundproof, the rooms are beautifully appointed. The deceptively "soft" mattresses provide just enough support to ensure deep, restful sleep. Of the two breakfasts I... More

We were two couples coming for theater in Stratford, and had rooms #1 and #5 in the main house. Both rooms were large, comfortable and well-appointed with delightful linens, fluffy towels, and nice soaps and shampoos. Everything was just right. Breakfast is good, dinner, however is another matter. See separate restaurant review.

We stayed here for two nights during our recent visit to see the theatre in Stratford. We could not find a room in Stratford, so we stayed at the Westover. We were very pleasantly surprised with the Westover. The grounds are beautiful and fairly well maintained. Our room was in the Terrace building and on the backside of the building.... More

I have stayed many times in the Westover Inn. It has small but very clean rooms and the staff is wonderful. The food is great and the outdoor pool is nice to relax in after a long day at the office. Keep up the good work. I will be back.

We stayed here while we were in town on business and were thrilled with our stay. We didn't have high expectations, but our room (in the cottage) was very comfortable. We travelled with our two year old and the staff were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we need. Beds were very... More

What a wonderful weekend away with my mom and sister. We visited the Stratford/St. Mary/Bayfield area. Our weekend provided us the opportunity for our Mom time with us her daughters. My Mom is a spry 81 and she was excited and enjoyed every bit of the weekend away. It was her little summer vacation. Our country drive to St. Mary’s... More
