We just returned from a snowmobile trip around the Lac-Megantic area. The location is great, on the lake next to a marina( we had a lakeview room)around the corner from the downtown area, and close to the snowmobile trails.( the trails are clearly marked so you can find your way back to the hotel) We couldn't have been happier with our accommodations. We were pleasantly surprised when Mario was able to put us in the room we requested. It was not available when we called the day before. This is one of the older establishments located on the lake. It was clean and comfortable. It shows a little wear and tear, much like a well loved home.
The staff was friendly and accommodating. Our package included dinner and a full breakfast. The food was incredible, larger portions than we normally get traveling in the region. It was as beautiful to look at as it was to taste. We look forward to a return trip. more
