This is a nice old German Hotel, with good staff and a very good restaurant. The rooms are good, not luxurious but not bad. There is no fridge in the room, which is a pity. The bathrooms are small but functional, and the shower is good. There is a nice big park out the back for a walk in summer.... More

I have stayed in this hotel for a second time for couple of days on my business trip. The hotel small, cosy and quiet. All the staff is very pleasant and helpful. I have stayed at the Cap Polonio on many occasions over the past ten years. It is a typical family run German hotel. The rooms although spacious are comfortable and impeccably clean. I've stayed there after a very long flight from Australia. I had a good sleep and a wonderful dinner in the restaurant. Stayed here several times before for both business and pleasure. Very quiet hotel in a sleepy little town. Yes its more expensive than a UK Hotel but the service and food is miles better. I've stayed at this little hotel on a business trip, rooms are basic and spacious and would need some redecoration, especially the bathroom (which isn't very big at all). The hotel is basic, very basic. It is interesting, because of the old inventar from the old ship Cap Polonio, but that is it. Food is not so great and overpriced.
