This is my 2nd Vist to Auberge. My first visit was in Feb 2014. Pro: Very nice location across the street from the beach. Good food in the hotel's restaurant. And great access for those who enjoy dining from the local vendors on the beach, which I highly recommend. Con: The lighting is very dim and dull. There was no... More

The review is actually for the restaurant at the Auberge which is simply great. Fairly large choice on the menu of both food and drinks. Service is prompt and friendly and they will go out of their way to please. We all tried something different on the menu from lobster to vegetarian and were very pleased. The rum sours were... More

We have been in this hotel for a professional retreat on December 2015. L'auberge du Rayon Vert is well located in Pointe Sable area. We loved everything except the meal: very poor in the morning: (spaghetti and salami, carambole juice) and very salty and expired in the afternoon.

This place has an excellent location, right across from the beach in a quiet street, within a short walk from the more lively area of the beach. But the hotel itself has some problems. For one, electricity was, at best, intermittent, which meant no fan or AC for much of our stay (2 nights), which made the room rather hot... More

I arrived late and unannounced and was accommodated in a spacious, impeccably clean, modern room with a large balcony. The amenities are all there- air-conditioning (without interruption) modern bathroom with hot water and pressure, definitely a good call in Port Salut.

The Restaurant: My friends and I stayed at another hotel nearby because we had never heard of this place. We ended up eating here though almost every night because the food was great. The staff was friendly and the setting is just beautiful. Very beautifully crafted wooden tables, chairs, and art work. Wonderfully decorated interior. It's not traditional Haitian food,... More

This hotel is across a secured and narrow street from a lovely public beach on which the hotel has thoughtfully provided several lounge chairs. The atmospheric rooms are at once historical, very Haitian, and spacious. They are indeed dim, but we considered that a pleasant respite from the glaring sun in the open area between the hotel’s several buildings. Our... More

We went with our family of five kids and three other adult friends. The rooms were clean and spacious, with AC and hot water. It looked historic and they're in the process of expanding the rooms. The food in the restaurant was good and right across from the public beach which was clean. They had a trampoline for the kids... More

This place is amazing! We stayed in the new building of the hotel and it was fascinating! The rooms are spacious, the beds are comfortable, the bathroom I had in room "K" was bigger then some efficiencies in the state, lol. The French chef was amazing with his dishes. The restaurant's staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean.... More

You would think that a hotel across the street from a beach would be filled with light, even if it doesn't have a view. This place was so dingy and dark that it just makes you sad. The rooms, while spacious, are completely spartan - just the bare necessities. Normally, I wouldn't complain about that. I'm used to living and... More
