Really enjoyed my stay here the whole Dingle Peninsula is Beautiful and really feels like Ireland. The hostel hosts are fantastic and were a great help with everything we needed. The kitchen and other facilities met our needs perfectly. The sunset views while as we drove up to the hostel were some of the best I have ever seen.

Because of some problems with my car I arrived very late in Don Chaoin. I called the hostel to tell about my unexpected delay. The manager was very friendly and helpfull. She told me the code for the front door and everything for my check in was prepared at the reception. As i was very tired I slept extremly good... More

The Hostel is located on a hill, so you can see from some rooms and the big dining room the bay and the Blasket Islands. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds were not very comfortable, but the dorm rooms have a clever segmentation, in the end it felt like we had our own room. :) A nice... More

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our 2 nights at Dun Chaoin Hostel in late July 2014. Things we liked:  Friendliness: The manager Carmen and her assistant Donald were welcoming and helpful.  Bedroom: It had a nice view of the ocean and the Blaskett Islands. It was a comfortable and peaceful room, with 2 bunk beds. Each of... More

Having hostelled throughout America, we are trying the Irish hostels. We have found the hosts to be much more personal and friendly as if you are a long lost friend rather than a business, and we appreciate the personal touches. This hostel is no different. The tour through the place, and some extra explanations were of great assistance to tired... More

Ideally situated for exploring the Blasket Islands and right on the Dingle Way; comfortable and welcoming with a helpful host and plenty of amenities (kitchen, dining, sitting area, breakfast and sack lunches available for purchase, laundry available for a fee). There's only one pub in town, which serves sandwiches, though the Blascod Center offers hot meals during operating hours. The... More

Simple accommodations for a cheap price make this a great place to stay if you want to get away from it all on the DIngle peninsula. The staff was very friendly and helpful. For those who do not purchase meals from the hostel, we advise you to bring groceries with you from DIngle or Ventry, because there is very little... More

Nice hostel in Dingle Penninsula, in Dunkin area. Well furnished, big communal kitchen, and lovely Dinning room lookimg through the sea. Different rooms who suits in all people and groups. Notice that there is no shop around, so buy in advance. But in the Hostel you can buy basic food: instant soups, tea...
