I have stayed in this hotel twice before and each time I love it. The rooms are very comfortable with a nice big bath to relax after a rainy day walking in dingle. We had lunch in the bar the day we arrived and breakfast in the morning. Both very good, hearty, size able Irish meals. Ballyferriter is the place... More

On our visit to Dingle last year we had dinner at the Ceann Sibeal Hotel on two occasions and were so impressed with the food, the service and the ambiance, that for our visit to the peninsula this year we stayed at the hotel for two weeks. Again we had a great experience; Helena and her staff are most friendly,... More

We had a great visit to Ballyferriter last weekend and especially Ceann Sibeal Hotel. We requested a room suitable for a disabled person. The quality of the bathroom with grab rails and raised toilet bowl was fantastic to see. We got an adjoining bedroom. This made life very easy. The staff were wonderful and the food great.

We couldn't figure out the window in our room. I know that sounds stupid, but it was one of those - turn the handle one way and it opens like a door, turn the handle another way and it tilts open from the top kind of deals, and I couldn't figure it out. Down in the bar, I told one... More

This hotel and restaurant has always been a great experience for me, but tonight's dinner fell way short of my expectations. My sister and I had the Fish bake with cooked frozen vegetables, and mash potatoes, which had to have been sitting somewhere for quite awhile. I must have ordered the wrong thing, and the red wine was underwhelming, could... More

Great boutique hotel Relaxed and welcoming Lovely big room (221) Good breakfast actually served to the table (which makes a nice change) by a young girl who really knows her stuff She worked in both the bar and restaurant over the weekend and was very pleasant We ate in the bar both nights and the food was good and the... Great stay! Food was good, friendly staff, great service! Rooms were average but super spacious! We only stayed one night, hung out in the bar most of the night - lots of local Irish entertainment, enjoyed a pint or two with delicious food. I would stay again. Location was perfect, not far from Dingle. Lot behind hotel for parking, very... More

I recently spent three nights in Ceann Sibeal Hotel and must say the friendliness of the staff was memorable. From the quiet chats in the bar after a days sightseeing to the banter at breakfast time, I really appreciated the conversation, particularly when spoken through the Irish language. The food was good and there was a selection of locally brewed... More

Dingle is a popular tourist town in County Kerry but it is somewhat too commercial. Ballyferriter is a village about 15 minutes from Dingle and very quiet. The hotel is walking distance from a nice beach and also a golf course. The rooms were large and we had a lovely view of the water and the hills. Nice breakfast and... More

My husband and I were travelling Ireland for a month on holidays from USA We decided to take a mini break from our busy catering lifestyle Our favourite trip by far was travelling the Dingle Peninsula, we travelled around The Slea Head Drive (the narrow roads were a bit of a shock not what we were used to) but the...
