Quinta de San Amaro is one of those places where you can totally relax. You're in the country, but very close to the main roads so still connected. Yet, you would think you're away from it all as this place is self-contained. There are a number of room options. We stayed in a nice twin room on the second level... More

This is what a hotel should be: we were welcomed and enjoyed a hospitality like we were people who were visiting their far away family. We enjoyed our cosy rooms, the splendid scenery, the excellent breakfast and dinners, the personal guidance through the region of Nacho and the warm attention of the hotel and restaurant crew. We'll certainly come back.

My wife, adult daughter & I stayted here for 2 nights in early June and absolutely loved this place. It was so beautiful and relaxing. Nacho, our host, and his staff were awesome! Whether we were lounging by the pool with a glass of wine, eating their superb breakfast or having some of the best meals we have ever eaten... More

I went to Quinta de San Amaro for business. The service was outstanding, typical from the area. It is great for walking. I was recommended a track with runs along the local creek with ancient water mills. It goes for about 5km and you go through a well marked path through the local albariño vineyards. Bunnies roam free in the... More

We decided to avoid staying in Pontevedra as there was a biathlon event and headed instead to Meano, a very small village set among the vineyards recommended on one of the wine tour guides. We were not disappointed! Naxo and his team were fabulous and made our stay so pleasant. As they say, it is always the people that make... More

Our group of avid wine tasters booked this fabulous boutique hotel for the first two nights of our wine tasting tour. We spotted it in Alistair Sawday's book of Spanish Hotels and could not fault it. The staff were friendly and attentive, the wine list was substantial and our dinner on the first night was excellent. It is also very... More

This small boutique hotel is off the beaten path but worth the drive. Fun, narrow roads lead you to a little piece of paradise. Thoughtfully designed common spaces include a small pool, library, meditation room, a lovely restaurant... My husband and I ate dinner both nights at the restaurant and were delighted with the food and service. Breakfast consisted of... More

We stayed in this small owner-managed hotel in August 2012, having picked it from reviews in Tripadvisor. It has been designed and created with remarkable style and flair from old buildings and ruins. Our room - number 1 - was really comfortable, spacious and clean with a pleasant view across the vineyards. We enjoyed very much the warm hospitality, the... More

We had the pleasure of spending one night at La Quinta de San Amaro and loved it. The room (one of 14) was pleasant and spacious and had a great view of the valley below. The slate swimming pool is fabulous and provides an excellent spot for a splash, while also enjoying the view of the valley below. Dinner was... More

We spent a lovely week at the Quinta de San Amaro, a wonderful little boutique hotel with a small but dedicated team of staff. Comfortable rooms, a good restaurant, a lovely"splash" pool area for those hot days. fantastic views of the Galician countryside and a masterpiece of renovation of an old property to admire. You feel that it has been... More
