Just what a B&B should be, in an excellent location. Sue and Andy were exceptional hosts - couldn't be more helpful. Very comfortable room and breakfasts were first class. Great walks on the doorstep. Will definitely return.

room very cold, heating inadequate for size of room with no guest lounge- essential for prices charged. Had to ask for heating to be switched on at 6-00pm on a cold April day, no refund offered after having to leave 2days into a 4night stay

This a very good B & B outside of Keswick but close to all the Lakes and walks. Sue is an exceptional and cheerful host who makes you feel at home straight away. This is our second visit and will not be the last. Clean and comfortable rooms great breakfast.

Very convenient location for blencathra and keswick. Very clean and comfortable with fantastic views out of the window. We were able to view the mountain that had defeated us!! 2 minutes walk to the horse and farrier which although wasn't what it was, still serves a good pint and some fine fayre. This is a superb out of town location where the hosts, Sue & Andy make you most welcome.
