Charming and relaxing and a great location just steps from the beach. We stayed 8 nights in the bungalows at Casa Suaya. The bungalows were charming, but need a little more maintenance. The swimming-pool area is very nice and this part of the beach is very quiet. A place for relaxation. But the best part of our stay was the... More

I stayed at this hotel the nights of 27/28 january 2015. Service is very slow, breakfast poor and with limited options, no towels by the pool, connectivity to WI FI is complicated, interrupted and slow. BEWARE, price/service relation here is well below standards.

I've traveled to 90+ countries, and this was one of the most beautiful hotel rooms I've ever stayed in. Decorated in a bohemian hippy chic (not my personal aesthetic, but it worked). 10 feet of floor to ceiling wrap around glass looking out over the sand dunes, the beach and the ocean. You could walk the beach for a mile... More

The room was spacious and modern but very cozy. Jose Ignacio's environment is breathtaking and Casa Suaya does a great job providing top accommodation that adapts perfectly to the natural, magical vibe. The amenities are perfect and the staff was amazing to us. We had an incredible time, I recommend Casa Suaya all the way.

We're an eclectic group of creative app developers that have come in from the United States, Uruguay, Argentina, Germany and the Philippines for our 5th annual company retreat. Upon arrival, we were greeted with exceptional service and hospitality by the management and bar staff. With the breathtaking views and absolute tranquility, I can say with confidence that over 25 members... More

I had a lovely stay in September for 2 nights. Since it was the winter season in Uruguay, we had the hotel to ourselves but were treated like kings! We got upgraded to a beautiful suite, and had a beautiful breakfast next to the fireplace. Would definitely recommend it to anyone that is planning on visiting Jose Ignacio.

We were the only guests during our entire visit there yet the service by the management were appaling! Everytime we needed something there was no one to be found. The rooms are spacious, but definitely need some maintenance. They told us we could not use the chimney, which was a big disappointment as it would have been nice to use... More

Dear Guest, I am sorry about the experience you had during your stay at Casa Suaya. Unfortunately off season time in Jose Ignacio is mostly for people that come for work in the area and need a place to stay for a day or two. It is not recommended as a tourist spot and you are right that we should... More

First Casa Suaya is absolutely beautiful and the pinnacle of great taste! Every room is beautifully decorated with timeless modern elegance with an eclectic flare--everything is immaculately clean- beds are comfortable and great high thread count sheets. Very International jet set crowd but the ambiance lends itself to a low key relaxed feel and is the perfect getaway to unwind... More

I an currently staying at the hotel, but since breakfast, I haven't been able to find a single member of staff at the hotel. No-one at reception, and no instructions on how to contact anyone working here. Is the hotel closed for the off-season? And they just forgot to tell me? It's a beautiful setting, but without any service, it... More

Very limited pool service. No sitting areas at verandas. If it rains, back to the room.. Bangaloos poorly furnished and kept. No shower Excelent concierge. Gardens badly kept. Lunch could be better. Expensive for what it offers.
