I was hoping to write a review with information newly discovered during our recent stay. Let me start by saying that we own 2 weeks since early 90's in building 3 and in the Oceanside Villa. We were absolutely pleased with our accommodations. The rooms were clean, daily towels and very helpful maid staff. Yes our coffee pot didn't work.... More

We stayed the first week of February 2015 at the Sapphire Beach Club to find they had no hot water, no coffee cups,no screens on the windows, refrig did not work and a vanity door laying on the floor. The room smelled of mold and if you ran the air conditioner it smelled worse. Open the windows and you get... More

This was my first time to Sapphire. I don't normally write reviews but there has been so many bad reviews I thought I should add my humble opinion. Good Stuff: The location of Sapphire was perfect for us, not too far off the beaten path but not right in the middle of constant activity either. The studio w half kitchen... More

We are owners at this lovely resort but have had great difficulty with their accounting. The past two times that we have paid our maintenance fees on time and in full, Sapphire beach has claimed that we have not paid and have suspended our privileges with RCI.

It was not really any worse than last year. Still very dated, lack of towels, only one somewhat functional elevator in buildings 1 & 2 (the working one in building 2 broke for about 12 hours one day.) Our maids cleaned our room and left one towel for two showers. I'm not sure how that was supposed to work. Nothing... More

This once beautiful, upscale property has continued to deteriorate the last several years. We have stayed there for 3 weeks the last 4 years.. Each year we hope for the best and prepare for the worst. Which has finally happened. It is really no longer healthy with the plumbing problems, bugs, very bad old bedding, etc. The staff has always "had... More

We have been going to Sapphire Beach Club for about 15 years arond Christmas and New Years. we were there for 2 weeks starting 12/20. Between our families we had 5 different units. The bar has been cash for a number of years. There was always a charge for the Wi-Fi and the internet. This year we had the fewest... More

Sadly; I received an RCI notification letter dated 01/20/2015 announcing Sapphire Beach Club suspension from RCI weeks and RCI Points program. This once outstanding St. Maarten Resort has been neglected by management for several years now and has finally been removed from RCI affiliation by RCI. 2014 was the last visit I had taken to my time-share at SBC. Total... More

I stayed one week at the Sapphire Beach Club for one week with two friends there were problems from the start. We had two one bedrooms booked for the week. The air conditioner was broken I. One unit and there was rust in the freezer in both units along with an overwhelming smell of mildew in both units. They never... More

I had not been here for years and the reviews were worrisome so I was apprehensive. Gustavo the valet welcomed me with his usual smile...Santana checked me in to my room effortlessly and with the same welcoming embrace. Yudaleska the housekeeper, when asked to bring additional towels and sheets for my invited guests responded quickly and immediately offered to be... More
