Centrally located in Lakefield and is conveniently located. Was pleased with decor, cleanliness and spaciousness. Mini fridge and coffee pot were nice touches. Room had a balcony with table and chairs with view of Lakefield main street. Continental breakfast was adequate and staff were attentive to ensure items were being replenished. Food selection met a variety of needs and fresh... More

Journeyed to Lakefield where our son runs a camp for children. The Village Inn at Lakefield is situated right downtown and close to the river. The room was spacious and quiet once the village stores closed. You have a choice of 2 views-main street or parking lot. Continental breakfast very meagre compared to many hotels that charge similar prices.

this inn is very well situated right in the centre of town - close to everything you need. Rooms were clean and comfortable - staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was very spartan however, when compared to similar properties - you may want to go elsewhere for breakfast. All in all we had a very good stay and will... More

The rooms are clean, comfortable, have a coffee pot, mini fridge and extra seating area with couch or chairs. We stayed in two different rooms as we extended our stay and had to change rooms. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Inn is on mainstreet so you can walk to shops and restaurants. Air conditioning worked well. Continental breakfast served in... More

The Village Inn offers a couples getaway evening complete with a night in their romantic suite (nice bottle of wine waiting at check it) and an excellent dinner at a friendly nearby restaurant. Not a single complaint. Would highly recommend if you're anywhere near Peterborough or neighboring Lakefield.

This Inn achieves the tricky balance between maintaining historic charm ( though new thanks to a fire a few years ago),while providing modern conveniences, all at a reasonable price. The decor is a comfortable, contemporary take on Victorian traditions, warm reds and yellows providing a warm ambience throughout the hotel. Our room featured two queen beds, two comfortable stuffed armchairs,... More

This particular Inn, provided a warm and fuzzy feeling as soon as we entered. The rooms could use some updating, in so far as some of the furnishings, however the style lends itself to a more victorian feeling. Room very clean and right downtown village. Trent Waterway but a small walk away. Enjoyed ourselves very much

There are not a lot of options if you are going to visit Trent, but Village Inn is really quite nice. It is not large and it is not new but it has a nice homey feel and wonderful beds and quite a decent pub. The staff is small but very competent and accommodating and sent us off to a... More

This is the hotel we suggest to all guests coming in to the Peterborough area for the weekend. It is clean, comfortable, friendly and within walking distance of all amenities. You can enjoy small town atmosphere and find the quality of cuisine you are looking for from exquisite fine dining to fast food.
