We were so pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The decor and furnishings added to the romance and ambiance. It was private and quiet. The restaurant downstairs was a nice place to eat breakfast and go for drinks. This is our new place for getaways.

I hope to return to the Village Inn when next in the area. I visited twice in March. Both times, the hotel and pub staff were welcoming and helpful. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and everything worked. That said, one should not expect 5 star accommodation. The towels were effective but rather rough. I wish the windows opened... I have often stayed at The Village Inn in Lakefield while on the road on business in cottage country. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and the rooms are decent. It is a sleepy town and in the evening the bar/restaurant can sometimes become quite lively. This is a pleasant, nice place to stay.

There was a group of us who booked at the Village Inn in Lakefield ON. Tara and the rest of the team members were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean and yet unique. The rooms had all the amenities a family would require. The fact we were there for a hockey tournament, requesting a late check out... More

We stayed here with our family on October 14th. Very nice room; clean and spacious. It had a fridge! Good sized desk, and super HD TV for the kids. It would be nice to have a small workout room, and the continental breakfast has no protein options, but overall, we were very pleased. Walked into town and met some fun... More

Visiting friends at a cottage at the Kawartha's, we stayed at the Village Inn in Lakefield, Ontario. Large room, very clean with fridge and all other amenities. Right in the middle of town with access to restaurants, etc. Attached is a pub and restaurant. Did not stay for the breakfast, so can not comment on it. Certainly would stay there... More

Centrally located in Lakefield and is conveniently located. Was pleased with decor, cleanliness and spaciousness. Mini fridge and coffee pot were nice touches. Room had a balcony with table and chairs with view of Lakefield main street. Continental breakfast was adequate and staff were attentive to ensure items were being replenished. Food selection met a variety of needs and fresh... More

Journeyed to Lakefield where our son runs a camp for children. The Village Inn at Lakefield is situated right downtown and close to the river. The room was spacious and quiet once the village stores closed. You have a choice of 2 views-main street or parking lot. Continental breakfast very meagre compared to many hotels that charge similar prices.

this inn is very well situated right in the centre of town - close to everything you need. Rooms were clean and comfortable - staff were very friendly. The continental breakfast was very spartan however, when compared to similar properties - you may want to go elsewhere for breakfast. All in all we had a very good stay and will... More
