This nice hotel is the only choice in Cucaco if you want to stay in a better place than in a camping. and in winter you should not!. The hotel is in wood decor and is very warm and comfortable. Stunning view around the lake!

We were recommended this hostel by other travellers and decided to check it out. The hostel is only 2 years old and completly build out of wood. The building is really nice: big kitchen, cosy living room with sofa's and fireplace, lovely wooden deck looking out to the river and lake. The private room looks like a hotel room: modern... More

I can only have good words for the Hostel but specially the place were is located. The room we got assigned had an amazing view to the lake. Its in the middle of nowhere but you can still get 2 local small restaurants where to eat however be prepare to cook by your self as sometimes the restaurants dont open.... More

Quaint hotel. Nice rooms. Cool and humble design. Clean, simple, comfortable, great hot tub, amazing view. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff. Great info on what to explore (kayak, horseback, national parks, many trails). Good food, ate some pretty good empanadas too!

We planned on spending a few days at Palafito Cucao to explore the park and relax. One night was too much! We paid 45,000CP or $100USD for a matrimonial room with private bathroom. The location is not as quiet or as remote as we thought it would be. It is in the little village with buildings on either side of... More

02 nights in this new and very cozy place to stay were enough to enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the National Park Chiloe. My first experiences was the smell of the hostel, it was built with native trees that make you feel that you are in the middle of the forest. Second experience was the rooms and their decoration of... More

We stayed here for just one night, and slept in a dorm room (we usually choose double rooms but here they were just a bit too expensive for us) The dorm was very clean and spacious, with 2 bunks and 2 single beds. The lounge / dining room / kitchen is fantastic, and on a nice day the deck is... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in February 2013. Amazing setting and scenery with lovely deck/terrace to sit on over the water. You can even swim off it! Staff friendly and English speaking. We stayed in the very nice 6 bed dorm - a big room with large comfy beds - 2 bunks and 2 single beds.... More

The hotel is very new, featuring an all-wood mixed modern-traditional Chiloe design. We got the corner room (I cannot recall the number, but ask for the corner room in the second floor), which has the best views, with two big windows over the lake and its shore. The decoration is also modern-traditional in local style, featuring lots of wood and... More

This hostel was truly special, both in the design and service. With its huge windows looking out onto the lake and arrayanes forest, the building feels like it was built for the landscape. The fireplace is warm and the kitchen enormous, and the rooms themselves have incredible views out onto the lake. On top of the location, I was also... More
