We stayed in this beautifully presented hostel for 2 nights. The rooms were fully equipped and it was nice to have a locked drawer in the room. The bed was one of the best beds we've ever slept in. The two sisters that run the place were lovely and welcoming and cleaned the room daily. Breakfast was nice (roll, jam,... More

Lovely hostel with bright, airy, clean rooms and a lovely central open air courtyard. The best part about it though is the hostess Lucia who acts as a surrogate mother for the weary traveller! We mentioned laundry at one point on our arrival then came back from lunch to find our big bag of dirty clothes had been whisked off... More

Wonderful place to stay. The owner Lucia is the sweetest lady I've ever met. She told me everything I needed to know about the valley and took care of me, like I was her grandchild. She even showed me her old photo albums from when she visited Easter Island. Breakfast is also great and very cozy. The whole place is... More

We stayed here for a couple of nights and could've stayed longer because of how relaxed and welcome we felt. Lucia was very helpful and entertaining, giving us some great tips on the region and staying up to just sit and chat with us well into the evening (with a few cheeky piscos). The house is a beautiful old home... More

I spent 4 nights at Hostal Valle Hermoso and it was one of the highlights of my trip. It's a 100 year old house that has been converted into a hostal. Rooms are spacious, clean and bright, with private bathroom. The price includes a delicious breakfast with eggs, bread, cheese, fruit and coffee/tea. They also have wifi, which works best... More

We stumbled across this (worth calling as the online booking seems a bit hit and miss) and was the perfect spot. Run by charming sisters who grew up in the house, lovely breakfast of omelette, fruit, bread, jams and tea/coffee served at tables. Big, airy rooms with high ceilings and immaculately clean. We came back and our things had all... More

The hotel is located a few blocks from downtown. The hotel is very nice with an open courtyard in the middle. It is a small hotel, but the rooms are nice and the bed was comfy. It is a classic style hotel. The breakfast was good and even had eggs. There is wifi at the hotel, but it only works... More

The old colonial house with its central patio is just amazing . But what is even better, is the hostess and owner . This lovely lady is fountain of wisdom about the region, the Pisco and the excellent local wines . She makes you feel at home . The rooms and bathrooms are big and very clean, and the wifi... More

I really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms were clean, the owners friendly. But I would not call it a hostal but a b&b as you can not cook in the kitchen. They only allow you to prepare a salad or something alike that does not involve proper cooking. The wifi did not work in the room or the kitchen... More

It was a really nice place to stay. The two ladies that own it are very nice and informative. Very clean and the breakfast is very nice. Warm showers and rooms at night. Lonely Planet also recommends it.
