I really enjoyed my stay at this location. My room was very clean and comfortable. It was so relaxing to sit by the river in the evening with a coffee in hand. I would have given 5 stars if there would have been a better breakfast setup.

I was looking for a spot for my wife and I to go for a night away from parenthood. In searching on-line I found this spot and glad I did. When you turn onto the road towards the Inn you are in an older standard part of town and with one turn over a small hill you feel like you... More

This B&B/hotel is located along the beautiful Indian River in Springdale. The view from our room was breathtaking and the room was outstanding. Spacious, inviting, clean, and comfortable. There are very few places in this part of Newfoundland to find a romantic getaway. The Riverwood is truly a great find.

Our room was absolutely gorgeous as was the view. There are hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout, which makes for a fair amount of noise even when you are trying to walk softly. The lack of dinner service came as a huge surprise. In the travel brochure it says fully-serviced kitchen. We were never told that they do not have... More

Great, spacious rooms with all necessary amenities, such as fridge, bathtub, balcony with river view. comfy bed. flaws: breakfast is nothing to write home about, toast, muffins, stale danish, weak coffee. and then there is the much criticised noise from above and everywhere. management should do something about breakfast at least.

The room is furnish in modern style with low very comfortable king bed, couch that turns into a twin bed and electric fire place. The balcony looks over the Indian river. the bathroom is huge with a deep soaker tub, again in the... More

Clean room, great staff, fantastic location and perfect home base for our family of 5. It's the little things that make a hotel stay and Riverwood staff took care of them all. Best place to stay hands down.

On first appearance this hotel is very lovely. We found one staff person, eventually, when we arrived, the front desk does not always have someone there. She was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is right by a beautiful river with a pathway, surrounded by birch trees, nestled in a neighbourhood with the nicest homes we saw in Newfoundland. It's... More

An excellent place to get away from the everyday. Perfect for a romantic night/weekend away. Try and get a room on the top floor as there is some noise from the above rooms due to the hardwood floors.
