Decor stuck firmly in the eighties but look further than that and you'll find a small friendly hotel close to the autoroute. Good breakfast in the elegant dining room you have to try the savoury filled brioche that are fresh every day and the jam filled croissants, yummy. Clean pool but a bit cold in June. One downside, waking up... More

For us a Good Hotel. If you intend to travel around during the day then even better. The hotel has everything you need and a nice swimming pool. As a photographer this hotel was perfect to operate from, and of course with the family. You really do feel safe here. The beach isn't really suitable to go on and caution... More

We choose La Playa Blanca because it was on the coast, looked attractive and was in reasonable price. Unfortunately the description of the hotel on its site is quite not accurate. LOCATION *PROS The hotel looks really good and is lovely situated. To get there you need to drive through the very winding road but there is no other possibility... More

We stayed this hotel July 2014. We are a groupe of friends. Hotel is located in perfect place, just along the see. All rooms are with see view. Atmoshphere is really nice, all stuff is very helpful. We visited so many places in Sicilia thanks to the close distance to railway station and many attractions. In comparision to other hotels we... More

We were hugely disappointed with the experience. The establishment professes to be four star when in many respects it barely merited two. Its actually a good looking place with a big pool and a quiet location by the sea. The big bathrooms and balconies were nice. It was in the service that everything fell down. The towels in the toilet... More

We stayed here early May 2012. The weather was good and the pool was filled, but not heated, so was OK for swimming but not lounging around in. The room was clean and reasonably furnished. The breakfasts were nothing special. We ate in the adjacent restaurant and found the food good and the cost reasonable.

Beautiful location, right on the coast. Rooms clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the sea, coast and some of the Lipari islands. Nice, clean swimming pool. Virtually no possibility to swim in the sea, because of boulders and waves. Certainly no beach, despite the name "playa blanca". The only disppointment for us were the staff at breakfast, who... Nice Pool. Large but tired room. Very Poor breakfast. €10 for 24hrs WiFi is not acceptable in 2011 La Playa Blanca does not mean it has a white beach - its just boulders. Restaurant alongside is a pleasing location (no others for several Km). Service a little armature. eg White wine was taken from a shelf and tossed into the... More

I am so suprised reading other reviews. I have travelled ard the world and was staying in best hotels b/c of my job, like Hilton, and Sheraton an I really do like this small coisy hotel. It is run by Italian-Polish married couple. It is just next to the sea, views from the rooms with balcony are absolutely amaizing. Rooms... More
