A delightful little village, set in the hills, with an outstanding small hotel and restaurant. We only stayed for one night, but could have happily stayed for more if time had allowed. The hotel offers bedrooms in the main building, but we took a 2-room apartment, complete with kitchen, living room and its own terrace. All basic but clean. Food... More

If you like beautiful restored old towns in total remoteness (no, you don't have mobil reception!) with impressing nature and walking area around, enjoy a delicious dinner with local specialities and wine with a great view to the valley, sleep absolutely calm in an old stone house, and have very friendly and helpful hosts, you are exactly right here! We... More

We drove from Nice to Beget through the Pyrenees. It was an amazing journey with stunning sights. The roads are very narrow, lots of bends with steep drops, sometimes at either side so be ready for this. however, it's worth it when you get to this fabulous village. We were there during January so it was dark at about 18:30.... More

Oh Beget Beget, this old beautiful village hidden between those green Pyrenees mountains is taking your breath away. We arrived to Beget on a rainy day followed by winds and hail, it was extremely like in those old stories. We came for one night but stayed two. We stayed in small house with the sounds of river flows under the... More

Staying here was a wonderful experience. My wife and I briefly visited Beget a couple of years ago, and were blown away by the mountain setting of this ancient stone village. We vowed to return and stay at least one night in the Hostal El Forn. Sadly our trip this time was too crammed for more than a single night... More

In the middle of nowhere, there is Beget. A small historical village ( 12 inhabitants on a permanent basis ) This village is situated along the pyreenean trail. This hostal is family-run so the kids of the family goes around taking orders from the diners, wich i found to be very cute and funny. The mother and father cooks the... More

My family and I just had a three night stay at Hostal El Forn in Beget. Beget itself is like a town out of a storybook – such a unique experience! El Forn is perfectly located in the middle of town. Despite being essentially the only hotel in town, their service is top-notch! Rooms – we had one suite that... More
