What a wonderfull experience at The La Borie Grande with our new friend Allan !!! who was an absolutely charming and sophisticated host . A wonderfull manoir decorated with taste and harmony , full of original paintings and gravures. The site is an absolute unique with a direct view of Cordes sur Ciel over vast fields of typical french campagne... More

I stayed at La Borie Grande over a romantic weekend with my wife. It is a wonderful property run by two very nice and professional guys that, at the same time, make you feel really at home from the first minute on. The property is big but not overwhelming, and tastefully decorated with an eclectic mixture of modern simplicity and... More

we would thoroughly endorse all the previous positive comments and would highly recommend a stay of a night or a whole holiday here. From the lovely welcome from Paco and Alain, a tray of tea served by Howard to the moment we left we felt completely at home. Alain and Howard were perfect hosts, there when needed and yet not... We needed a break on a long drive, and booked this place not expecting anything quite so special.Set in beautiful gardens, even a tennis court, the accomodation is just perfect. But the hospitality of the hosts lifts it to an even higher level. Just as unexpected was the food and ambience of the dinner cooked by Howard. A four course meal..."don't... More

We feel so lucky to have found this place tucked into the gorgeous scenery of SW France. This old farmhouse has been completely renovated and beautifully furnished with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. Beautiful grounds, a lovely pool and a tennis court lure you our of your room and into the fresh air. All this would make a stay here... More

If staying in a beautifully furnished and decorated suite, having freshly squeezed orange juice and (the best) homemade croissants for breakfast is your thing, then La Borie Grande is for you. But this is just breakfast, make sure you stay for one of Howard's gourmet 4 course dinners where the conversation is as marvelous as the food. Guests meet for... More

My wife and I have been fortunate to stay in many 5 star Relais and Chateaux style hotels whilst travelling and look for similar establishments where-ever we go. As we were attending a wedding in Cordes-sur-Ciel, we wanted somewhere to stay close by, if for no other reason than to keep the taxi fare reasonable. The nearest Relais and Chateaux... More

We've been travelling around France every year for nearly 10 years, searching out little hideaways where we can return to knowing we'll be well taken care of. This is one of those places. We found it in Sawdays book and we needed a place in the area where we were exploring. What a find it turned out to be. Elegant... More
