I stayed at this hotel in October 09. I felt very safe during my stay, the rooms were clean and when I needed assistance the staff was ready to help. The free breakfast was great and the waiters and waitresses were very friendly and eager to serve what ever pleased your taste. Security was good and there was no problem... more

Wow! What a crappy poopy hotel. We intended to stay at least three weeks enjoying the tranquility of Boca Chica, Dominican Republic. We were very wrong. First of all the Dominican Republic is way over rated, but let's get back to the hotel Calypso. My wife, son, and I had quite a horrible experience. The rooms were nasty. Poopy nasty... more

We stayed at the Hotel Calypso in Boca Chica. Someone I work with recommended this hotel because it was away from the tourists, and it was quiet.
