Greeted by someone who's response when we said we had made a reservation was 'sorry I'm foreign write it down' wasn't a good start. The room was basic which is fine as we weren't here for facilities but more for the location. The bathroom was awful though. A filthy shower curtain, no bath mat (but instructions on how to use... Just needed an overnight stay in Milton Keynes area, so didn't bother looking at reviews - what a big mistake. Room was freezing cold as no heating on and window had been left open - in February, took about 6 hours to warm up. Bathroom had mould round bath, toilet did not flush properly. Most uncomfortable bed we have ever... More

Cold, smelly and badly run. No evening meal but states it does. Long way out for restaurants. Would not recommend this place at all. Travel lodge is a short distance away. Company booked this place and will not be using it again.

Shoddy, dirty hotel. Breakfasts ok, but no evening food available. Most customers appear to be builders/tradespeople working locally or DSS families in temporary accom. The hotel is basically in a layby, next to a restaurant which is usually shut and a garage/car wash place. Unless you drive, there is no escape and no local amenities. Owner actually told me to... Upon ariveing at this hotel we was greeted by a lady who could not understand a word of English and the hotel owner who was sat in his chair in the lobby with with a cover wrapped round him !!! In entering the first floor it was smelly and noisy and we suspected that most of the hotel staff are... More

No hot water, complained to reception and got a shrug! hostel for families needing B and B - I know this is necessary for some families, however, when you are paying a considerable sum you do not expect families to be 'moving in' at all hours. Filthy conditions, i did complain but.... I eventually went to a travel lodge. i... More

Like everyone else says, it's awful. I think there is a lot of people/staff living here actually, there's something not quite right, i.e. I'm pretty sure some of the people upstairs have a microwave in the room and are living with their kids here. Yes, smelly room, broken shower/toilet, noisy, un-clean, warm draught beer, no food on, uncomfy bed, messy... More

Staff unhelpful. My room smelt and was unclean. I booked for 3 nights but checked out after 1. I asked at 7.05am if breakfast was served and was told no come back at 7.30. Breakfast is advertised as 7 til 9 on weekdays! Also random people who seem to be friends or family appear to man reception and the bar.... More
