The setting is breathtaking and of course the reason why any traveller would come here. I shall definitely return to Piscinas but will not stay in the hotel again but seek other solutions. For such price levels (more than €500 per night for two persons on half board) one has the right to expect a lot more including renovated rooms,... More

This was our fourth visit to Le Dune but regrettably will be our last. Nestled between the dunes in an idea beach setting away from it all this was a true gem, made memorable by with wonderful food and service. Management mow seems to have lost the plot altogether; the rooms have for some years needed some attention but with... More

We stayed there on the weekend of April 25. The location and landscape are outstanding. In the past I have been told by friends about the magnificiency of the place. However, the hotel service is poor and far from what you would expect at an exclusive resort. Food at the restaurant sometimes fair and in many cases poor. We asker... More

We are an Anglo/Swiss family - 2 adults and our 10yr young daughter - stayed 18 April to 21 April'14. The positives first: Enquiry and Reservation Process: Excellent, with all of my questions answered politely, fully, accurately and in a very timely manner. Parking: Excellent. Absolutely no problem with a safe and secure gated controlled entrance/exit during our stay. Reception:... More

I have been told to come and see Europe highest dunes, and so I did. I was unsure while making my road map and reservations, if stay in this hotel or not, since I read several bad reviews. So I went seeing their website, and some more infos, and found out that maybe some of the "tripadvisTourists" didn't get that... More

It is hard to find any other place to stay in Europe or round the Mediterranean that is as magic and beautiful as Le Dune. It is not luxurious at all, some visitors think it should be more modern, no animation, no swimming pool, no dancing events - but every room is different, it is perfectly adapted to the surrounding... This a really special place at the end of a 3 mile unmetalled road. The hotel is a converted mine building sitting on the beach on the Costa Verde in Sardinia. There is nothing there apart from the hotel. The beach is fabulous and uncrowded even in July and August. During the high season the hotel produces the most amazing... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night of our Sardinia touring holiday in September. It is expensive (at least, it is compared with our usual budget) but we thought we would treat ourselves and are very glad we did. Location is remarkable, right on the beach. Sunsets, sunbeds, sea, sand, surf ... all immediately to hand. Very peaceful,... More

At high season the hotel is over priced for the amenities it offers. You are paying for the location that is beautiful. The staff is nice and tries willingly to make your stay pleasant. The rooms basic in comfort, the air conditioning a necessity but it is ancient and barely does the job. The bathrooms are old and tiny, Its... More

We were in the suite which was out dated, basic, and way over priced. It was spacious but we didn't want to spend any time in it! The beach/dunes are amazing, obviously it's invariably windy but with shelter the temperature was pleasant. The service was unfriendly mainly because no one understood English...not ideal! The dinner was delicious, fresh fish...you can't... More
