I have been told to come and see Europe highest dunes, and so I did. I was unsure while making my road map and reservations, if stay in this hotel or not, since I read several bad reviews. So I went seeing their website, and some more infos, and found out that maybe some of the "tripadvisTourists" didn't get that... More

It is hard to find any other place to stay in Europe or round the Mediterranean that is as magic and beautiful as Le Dune. It is not luxurious at all, some visitors think it should be more modern, no animation, no swimming pool, no dancing events - but every room is different, it is perfectly adapted to the surrounding... This a really special place at the end of a 3 mile unmetalled road. The hotel is a converted mine building sitting on the beach on the Costa Verde in Sardinia. There is nothing there apart from the hotel. The beach is fabulous and uncrowded even in July and August. During the high season the hotel produces the most amazing... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night of our Sardinia touring holiday in September. It is expensive (at least, it is compared with our usual budget) but we thought we would treat ourselves and are very glad we did. Location is remarkable, right on the beach. Sunsets, sunbeds, sea, sand, surf ... all immediately to hand. Very peaceful,... More

At high season the hotel is over priced for the amenities it offers. You are paying for the location that is beautiful. The staff is nice and tries willingly to make your stay pleasant. The rooms basic in comfort, the air conditioning a necessity but it is ancient and barely does the job. The bathrooms are old and tiny, Its... More

We were in the suite which was out dated, basic, and way over priced. It was spacious but we didn't want to spend any time in it! The beach/dunes are amazing, obviously it's invariably windy but with shelter the temperature was pleasant. The service was unfriendly mainly because no one understood English...not ideal! The dinner was delicious, fresh fish...you can't... More

We stayed recently at this hotel. We enjoyed the location and the room. Breakfast OK. Staff friendly. Dinner quality average to good. What really let it down was that it took 45 minutes to get our order taken on the first night and 50 minutes on the second, and this despite complaining. Only the head waiter took the orders and... I and my partner spent only one night in Le Dune during a Sardinia road trip. We decided to sleep there, despite the high price ( 250 euro for a night- considered a special offer!) because we knew Le Dune was the only accommodation available nearby on the beach. Indeed, the location is unbeatable considering that there is no alternative... More

We both thought this hotel was rather overpriced for what we got. The public areas are very nice, but the room itself was nothing special really - certainly not what was charged. The area is quite isolated, which means you have only the hotel's restaurant/bar as the only choice for meals and drinks, unless you want to drive back to... More

This was our final hotel after a weeks walking in the area. Well worth the extra money to be pampered at this beautiful spot. The accommodation is tasteful and very comfortable. The service was also faultless. The restaurant on the beach was a perfect place to be to watch the sun go down and enjoy some excellent food. Because the... More
