We enjoyed an excellent dinner with the family at the Auberge last week. Very attentive and friendly staff. A varied and interesting menu that mixed regional tradition with French gastro. Not cheap but very good value for money, in fact some portion sizes were a little overwhelming. Definitely worth a visit with any age group.

We were staying outside of Baud in a cottage & came in to town for dinner on our last night. 7 of us had the set menu & we were all extremely pleased with our meals. I had the Cassoulet of scallops & it was definitely value for money. I was nearly full up after the starter...lovely. Attentive service &... More

We have visited this restaurant under a number of management changes. Last visit in January 2014. We have never had a good or even satisfactory meal at this restaurant on any on these occasions. The surroundings, décor etc. are very pleasant sadly the food is indifferent and poor value for money. An example, a traditional Breton dish, potée consisting of... More

In spite of this very correct sale price, all our dishes are made in our premises(places), and we are very watchful... More

A real atmosphere with hardly a table free. Good choice of menus , all very reasonably priced. Good service of dishes of an excellent quality and value for money .We will be going again soon !!!! The restaurant is easy to find with ample parking nearby.

We stayed at the Cheval Blanc for two nights with our little daughters. We arrived rather early off the ferry but were met courteously, given coffee in the courtyard while our room was made ready and then helped to our room with our numerous bags. Full marks to them for having a baby-changing table in the hotel reception loos. We... More

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel, a friday and saturday. In the small town there is a nightclub that stays open until the early hours therefore there is a constant stream of drunken, singing (often nicely in tune) French youngsters passing the hotel on their way home. Even with the windows and shutters closed, this was a bit of... More
