Dirty, scruffy and noisy in terrible area.NOT for female travellers. The DeskHelp agreed I was right to cancel to go to a better place.Yet my card was charged an hour later for full 2nights. The photos on internet do not represent the reality.

Situated in a prime location in Quatre Bornes, we chose this hotel as a we needed a room to sleep, and a warm shower in the morning. With small rooms, an indifferent hotel and a mix of decent and not-so-helpful staff, it can be said to be a strictly functional hotel. Since we had to stay only a few days... More

Centrally located with decent restaurant. Courteous staff. Bus stop is at walking distance from the restaurant. Rooms are clean and neat. However, free bottle water is not provided, so plan accordingly. In addition, there is no safety latch to the door. No problem for safety but it would good for peace of mind.

I use this hotel a lot because it is a good location for work not in center of the city of Port louis, but easy to get to from here, by bus or taxi also is the place where there is a very big market that people from other islands come to to buy clothes ect. and a short drive... More

I had been there on a offical trip and wanted a business hotel closer to curepipe. the hotel is pretty average with average rooms and food. Good location in the central market , nothing much to write about, i do feel there are better hotels even though a bit far..

Have stayed only 3 nights out of 7 days as plan. Hotel needs renovation, very small rooms. Elevator very small and scary. It is simply not the best one around. I stayed there as it was close to the Apollo Hospital.

I am sorry to say this but my stay at the Gold Nest Hotel was one of the most depressing nights of my life. Hideous small rooms, an old and very dusty sock found in the bedside cabinet - it had been there for a long time - layers of dust down the sides of the wardrobe, stains all over... More

Stayed here 2 nights on business. Wanted to be close to Curepipe however in hindsight I would have been better of staying at one of the nicer hotels in Wolmer and taking the longer drive to Curepipe. The room is big with OK cleanliness. Howver the bed is extremely hard and the bedding is like sand paper. The room I... More

Couple of years ago, during our 4yr. stay @ mauritius me and family and friends leisured at many hotels and Gold Nest was one of them. Though near by my house it was a perfect choice to relax. The food was fantastic and will click your taste buds for sure. We even complimented the chef. Staff is so helpful and... More
