We stayed at this hotel last Saturday and it did not disappoint. As there was a festival going on we joined in with those celebrations so did not use the hotel's facilities which was a shame really as the hotel pool was stunning and the restaurant and bar looked lovely. Our room was very comfortable, and the hotel staff very... More

We checked in on 20/10/13 and had booked a Superior Room. We were upgraded to a suite, Rm 10, as there it was the end of the season and only one other room occupied in the hotel. The room was dated and poorly furnished and would struggle to be 3 star. We had booked dinner in the restaurant, and would... More

We had walked from Collias via Pont du Gard and Vers on a very hot day so were happy to find this hotel immediately as we stepped into Castillon-du-Gard. We were made very welcome on arrival and our room (No.10) was a suite which was spacious and very comfortable in all respects. This hotel is in a lovely setting and... More

We stayed here a number of years ago and booked a 4-day stay this June but left after one night. The rooms are tired and in need of a major refit, the outside seating areas are a great idea, but the furniture was dirty and old. This old lady is past her best and suffers by comparison with the newer... More

Upon reading reviews, we chose to stay here for our trip to Provence. We prefer small villages and from that perspective, this hotel completely fit the bill. I would have given the hotel a higher mark had the check in process not been so frustrating and not put a pall on our visit. We can surmise that the hotel overbooked,... More

Our last stop on an Inntravel walking holiday and a very welcoming one at the end of a very hot day's walk with a lovely pool and sunloungers on which to recoup. The dinner was also excellent with efficient service and some reasonably priced wines . The bedroom and bathroom were fine but the standard sized bed felt rather small... More

in a medieval setting. In fact, the hotel is a junction of different houses and gardens; The restaurant is superb, but expensive. So try out also the restaurant Amphytrion, just around the corner. Creative and delightsome! The breakfast in the hotel is sparing and flat .Buy a croissant and eat it in the typical French bistro.

We stayed here while on a bike tour through Provence. The town sits up on a hill, with the hotel in the middle of the little town. The pool sits on one edge of the hill, built around an old wall. It's a unique and gorgeous effect. The rooms are large and comfortable. Our room looked out onto the central... More

This hotel is one of my favourites. It is part of the Relais et Chateux collection, so is one of the more pricey hotels, but boy do you get a treat. We booked a couple of days before our arrival, directly with the hotel. They were so helpful, directions and any assistance we needed were handled with attention to detail... More

We just returned from a packaged walking tour which included two nights in this hotel. I expected to add my glowing comments to similar Tripadvisor reviews. I was surprised to see the negative ones listed below: our experience, on the contrary, was excellent. The staff are extremely welcoming and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. The restaurant is overseen... More
