As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a very warm hello. Spacious seating area and fascinating display of bygone signage built towards the warm ambience. The children's... More

A warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere. Had a Mothers Day meal and we were looked after very we'll. Landlord only took over a week or so ago and if he carries on the same way he should do well. Will certainly be going back.

Thought we would try the pub out now that there is a new landlord (again). Oh what a disappointment.............. The place was cold, draughty, and noisy with two children - still in their school clothes, running around seemingly without discipline (one was so young she was pushing her dolls pram about). NOT a very comfortable, warm, inviting atmosphere that it... More

It was my daughters last night before her wedding and the eight of us were made to feel special. He took the time to take... More

We were let down on self catering accommodation (this really wasn't our weekend) as the owner decided not to be available at the property nor answer the telephone (we're nice people honestly!). So suggest being wary of the Poachers Den in Holbeach, or perhaps places with the name Poacher in although that's being generalist! We managed to find the Lincolnshire... More

We were slightly disappointed with this review as we never received a complaint directly. Having said that, this was sometime ago and I am confident that anyone staying at the b and b would be happy that the rooms etc are clean and the staff welcoming. More
