We were only looking for a 'base' as we have friends in the area, ... and we now have two more friends in Marie and Charlie !! I requested 'disabled facilities' and our accomodation could not be faulted, everything very clean and met all my reqirements. Breakfast was cooked perfectly, and there was more than enough to set us up... More

If you want a friendly, clean, comfortable and idyllic place to stay you have to come to The Beeches. We have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful B & B to anyone visiting the area. I can only assume that the person who gave a bad comment must have been staying elsewhere and is confused, their review makes no sense... More

I stayed at this lovely bed and breakfast between the 7th and 8th of June 2014 with my three daughters and am pleased to say that, not only was this establishment clean and tidy throughout, it was adorned with beautiful personal touches. From the décor to added extras of toiletries, cotton pads and a selection of hot drinks and snacks,... More

Recommended by family and was not disappointed. Friendly host and hostess. Room was immaculate, fresh clean and comfortable. Don't know where the previous view stayed, but definately not where I did. Breakfast service was fantastic and food locally sourced. They were happy for our family who were not staying with them to meet us at breakfast. Tables had fresh flowers... More

What Marie and Charlie have created here from a run down farm barn is a credit to them both. How anyone can give this a bad review is a mystery, they must have gone to a differant place. Very comfortable and clean for us. Breakfasts during our 5 nights were exactly what was needed and was presented very profesionaly in... More

A really pretty, quiet location, with warm and friendly hosts and nice facilities. Our only minor complaint was that the mattress and pillows in our were a bit too hard, but the great overall experience made up for this. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at The Beeches for 5 nights with our two daughters and we were made to feel very welcome by the friendly hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated as friends rather than guests. It is a lovely quiet spot in the country which was great for our daughters as they really enjoyed playing with the... I stayed at this guest house for one night 4th Feb 2012. Very cosy, warm and clean. My room was massive with double bed, single bed, cot and ensuite bath/shower room. The staff were so helpful in every way. The breakfast was fantastic, best bacon ever. I would recommend this guest house to any one and I will return one... More

Booked this B&B on the internet, I needed a wheelchair friendly place and this seemed suitable. When we arrived we were greeted with surprise, I must have had a senior moment and got the dates mixed up,but nothing would fluster Marie and she got on the phone and got us booked in with another B&B just for the night. When... More

My boyfriend and I picked Beeches B&B as it was a bit more remote and were so pleased we did. It was extremely relaxing and the hosts were wonderful. The room was large, clean and very nicely decorated in a new england style and we looked out to see the chickens and the calves in the morning. The breakfast was... More
