A colleague and I found recently found ourselves requiring accommodation for one night in Spalding. The search for this was on the day. A local recommended the hotel and a few others but there was a obviously some event on as most hotels and B&B’s were full. The Cley had their last two rooms free which I reserved. I had... More

We stayed at this Hotel on 5 July 2014. Any were warmly greeted by the staff and shown to our room which appeared initially as very nice, however on closer inspection there was substantial rust and mildew inside the widows between the metal frame and the secondary double glazing. The breakfast was really good until I got some toast which... More

Hotel is located just off the main road - but not much road noise after 10pm.. I booked a single room and although it was a small it was clean and adequate for an overnight stay although a little warm - Iron, fan and tea /coffee making facilities all available and a short stroll into the main shopping area if... I stumbled upon this gorgeous little gem of a place quite by accident and I'm so glad that I did! Everything is immaculate, the staff are utterly lovely, the food is fantastic and it's the perfect private retreat from which to explore the area. I will definitely be going back to recharge my batteries! Top marks!

I have stayed twice - once a few days after Xmas for one night. The place was empty - I think one other guest - and my room was upgraded to a double in the main block. There was no availability of evening meal - fortunately I had other plans or it would have been crisps and chocolate from a... More

Hello David, We offer a full restaurant service Mondays through Thursday Evenings. Due to 5% Weekend dining and even less lunch bookings over the last 2 years, we now offer some weekend meals, but by prior arrangement. In regards to the Easter weekend, we were full with families visiting, as well as our longer-term executives, in addition to numerous Afternoon... More

Booked online as a stopover on the way back from Norwich. Not knowing the area and because the address was High Street, we expected it to be in the middle of town on a busy road. What a lovely surprise - the High Street is right next to the river, quiet and picturesque. The hotel is a lovely old property;... More

We received a flyer for steak night, £24.95 for 2 steaks and a bottle of wine so we booked. When arriving we were shown a table and left for at least 15 minutes having no idea where to put my coat! Eventually a man came and I asked him to hang up my coat as I could see no obvious... More

The staff were very friendly, but our experience felt like they were new and didn't really know what was going on. it was a cold evening, but the dining room, lounge and bedrooms were cold. Look slovely form the outside and reception area, but rooms were small and very basic - not value for money. Also a shame that the... More

I stayed at Cley Hall Hotel whilst on a training course and not feeling well. Staff are so kind and helpful. Donna especially, very caring. Food excellent especially the chicken with mushroom and taragon sauce. Invoices spot on as requested. My room in main main bldg was spacious. Can't thank them enough.

We stayed recently at this hotel. My colleagues and I had single rooms and were all situated in the Annex. The review is based on the basis of this experience. Our single rooms were relatively small, enough to fit in a single bed and a small wardrobe. The bathroom was relatively more spacious but has a rather small shower cabinet.... More
