Had a lovely afternoon tea, as always and we also took the Wynyard Hall tour - have to say the tour was fabulous! We have been visiting the hall since 2010 when we booked our wedding and feel the tour is a much unknown experience. We would highly recommend it thanks to Richard who is very knowledgeable about the hall... More

We booked the taste of wynyard package which includes a tasting menu for dinner, bed and breakfast. Check in was really smooth and friendly and we got shown to our room - Lady Sarah. The room was lovely - recently refurbished very cosy. The bathroom was fabulous huge bath with lovely temple spa bath products which smell amazing! We went... More

Stayed here with a dinner bed and breakfast deal.... Upgraded the room to a suite and it was lovely! Really grand. If you want a modern hotel then this isn't for you! It's grand on a luxury scale not modern. Stayed for a three course meal, could of had set menu or brasserie menu. Opted for the brasserie menu. Had... More

Well, where do I start? It was our anniversary so booked in for a treat night. Arrived and was friendly greeted at reception. We were shown to our room where a bottle of fizz with chocolate strawberries awaited. The room was great, a suite with a good size bed and a separate lounge with sofa and table. Bathroom was a... Over the past three months, my mother and I have called here for morning coffee or the afternoon tea. I can safely say it's our favourite little hideaway. The staff cannot do enough for you and service is just how you'd expect it to be, perfect! There is a good selection of cakes and sandwiches, and the tea and coffee... More

My wife and I stayed here for for the first time for 2 nights mid week. The setting and surroundings are great and the food is fabulous. We ate in the main resteraunt as well as the brasserie and could not fault anything. The staff here really go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcome and Ashley looking... More

We stayed at Wynyard for the third time on the night of my brother in laws wedding. We were in the Vane Tempest suite which although looked impressive, left a lot to be desired. We have previously stayed in an executive double and a master suite with no problems at all - Firstly on our wedding night and the second... More

Visited with colleagues for a festive lunch before Christmas and had a poor experience. We complained to Daniel, the assistant manager, and he invited us back today, to see if he could improve our experience. Well he did! What a difference! This time worthy of a four star hotel. Wonderful welcoming surroundings, competent and attentive staff and beautiful food. Well... More

Love the treat of afternoon tea and have sampled a few over the years. Wynyard Hall is moderately priced £21 per person and reasonable value for money. Tea was taken in the library, the room was warm and cosy despite its size and had comfy tables and chairs. We also had a view of a beautiful sunset over the view... More
