Several of us went to wynyard hall as a hen party with a difference. Had a lovely day at the spa with fabulous treatments. Followed by a superb dinner and an equally substantial breakfast this morning. The rooms are amazing with incredible views of the lake. Excellent facilities in each room. Made us feel very welcome and the hen party... More

Visited on a beautiful spring afternoon with my husband for our wedding anniversary. What a wonderful experience it was, from having a lovely warm welcome on entrance by Richard. Throughout our visit all the staff were so friendly and attentive making us feel so at home. The cakes, scones and sandwiches were of the highest quality especially the salmon and... More

I stayed overnight for business. Absolutely outstanding. It has extensive grounds where I saw a deer and some rabbits. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The restaurant is also good. The only downside is that although the wine selection seems to be absolutely top class, the bee selection is limited to the usual standards plus a couple of bottled... More

Booked online afternoon tea for six family members , arrived at Wynyard and the weather was horribly , there was a wedding fair on which we didn't no about at the time so there was no room to park.On arriving into the grounds the car park steward explained the situation regarding no places left to park so we would have... Visited for afternoon tea with a group of friends during the Easter holidays. Best part of the afternoon was the beautiful view we enjoyed from the terrace on a lovely sunny day. We had the Mad hatter's afternoon tea which was interesting, but I've had better. For £22, I have to say that the sandwiches were extremely small and these... More

Over Easter we had the most amazing wedding day at Wynyard Hall. Set in splendid grounds outdoors and grand interior, we could not have asked for More. Emily the wedding co-ordinator was truly wonderful, which took away a Lot of worry from us. On the day all the staff were friendly and efficient and Chris the MC was fantastic, always... More

Myself and two friends purchased one of the hotel's White Friday deals for a make up lesson including £30 worth of products last November and booked in for March. I had recieved some communication from the hotel prior to our visit informing us that the hotel was undergoing some renovation work and that may be slight distruptions. There was none... More

We booked a spring saver room and we're pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade. The staff are attentive and professional, we had the cream tea, scrumptious. An evening meal that was very well prepared and presented and as a final act of indulgence breakfast in bed, which as I had thought it would be was a wholesome affair which... More

Firstly I must start on a positive note. The hotel itself and the history of it is beautiful however I'm afraid this is where the positives stop. We checked in and were given a spa allocation time- two hours only. I thought this was a little odd as it was a Sunday evening and very few people around. Following our... More

We booked the Duke of Wellington room for my Birthday in January. Having stayed in the Frances Anne room previously, we were looking forward to seeing the Duke of Wellington and we were not disappointed. We arrived at Wynyard Hall quite late, it was very quiet. It was as impressive as ever - such a lovely building! We were greeted... More
