Had afternoon tea here today with four friends and as the last time I visited it was excellent. The room was sumptuous, the entrance hall fabulous and the tasty sandwiches with delicious scones and small cakes definitely hit the spot. The service here is very good and discreet. Lovely fir a treat or like us a long overdue catch up... More

I had my baby shower here and really enjoyed it. We were given a private room as there was more than 20 of us which allowed us to play some games, and I was also given a lovely spa gift set from Wynard Hall. The service was great, as much tea, coffee and even green tea as everybody wanted, and... More

What a fabulous hotel! We stayed here on Sunday night for one evening following a wedding reception. Staff were so attentive and professional, very well trained and a credit to the management. The hotel room was large, clean and very well presented. The bed and pillows were amazing- just so comfortable, the minute my head hit the pillow I went... More

This hotel was booked for me for 1 night by a local company. The very posh and salubrious housing estate is owned by the owner of Newcastle football club. These are very large 4-10 bedrooms mansions. Wynyard Hall is set somewhere in the middle of the estate in very large grounds. It does look fantastic as arrive and I can... More

Just come back from having afternoon tea here as part of a baby shower. Paid £30 each to have prosecco afternoon tea to only be offered house wine or non alcoholic drinks. I said I thought we got prosecco for the waiter to look at me blankly and not respond to my question. I asked for a wine spritzer for... More

Beautiful Wedding venue. Beautiful spa with hot tub and views. Was lucky to be part of a Wedding at Wynyard Hall in July. Beware !! Book rooms before you book Wedding as Wynyard don't like to offer you the special offers as advertised on their web site as I found out. I ran up 3 month before Wedding and asked... More

Dear Janet, Thank you for your review. The 'Extend the Weekend' offer in which you are referring to at £99 per person on a Sunday evening can only be booked within one month of your stay, as stated on our website, which is why this offer was not given to you when you enquired 3 months prior to the wedding.... We arrived and tried the fabulous afternoon tea outside in the sunshine, Mohammed and his staff were great, pleasant and attentive the same at breakfast too. We walked around the grounds while we stayed and spoke to the concierge (Richard I think) he was so knowledgeable about the history of... More

Visited Wynyard Hall on July 26th for a family wedding. The place was breathtakingly beautiful. Most of the family booked rooms to stay in over night and we weren't disappointed. The room was spotless, very clean and the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! The facilities in the room were very, a large tv with sky... More
