I've been staying at this establishment for the past five (5) years when the Australian Formula One Grand Prix is being held at Albert Park, Melbourne in March. The staff are courteous, helpful and pleasant and the decor and quality of the rooms is minimum four (4) star. Last of all the beds in this establishment are unbelievable, minimum five... More

Room by the Bay, thank you for your kind review, it is great that you enjoyed your stay with us and found the ideal spots that we have to offer. We stayed at the Quest Brighton for an overnight stay and were quite surpised how small the Superior room was(think Asia size) The room had a balcony which had two dead palm trees and I mean dry dead not coming back as well as 6 spiders on the privacy wall for the balcony. Once inside the romm door seventeen steps... More

A group of us spent NYE nearby and decided to book rooms at The Quest to avoid driving home afterwards. It was well situated for our needs and the rooms were clean. Staff were polite and helpful. Many of us had the odd experience of entering our rooms only to find a staircase up to our respective rooms, which were... More

I choose this accommodation based on two things; Access close to family members and the fact that they could take me for the entire period of my stay. The hotel is across the road from the Brighton beach. The hotel doesn't have a self laundry, but that's the only issue I had. This is the first hotel I have stayed... More

Booked in Xmas eve and found a stale water odour in the room. Staff tried to fix the issue, then decided to relocate us to another room, along with a discount voucher for the inconvenience. Very much appreciated.

This hotel is just across the beach from Brighton Beach, and a short walk from Church St shopping area. There is undercover parking (for an extra $15/ day), and a restaurant and spa attatched to the hotel. We didn't try the restaurant, although the menu seemed tasty and reasonably priced. The room was suitable for our needs and was clean... More

Three nights in Room 106 - clean, modern, well-appointed and bright, but not spacious. The building has a resonant hum throughout - seems to be same as the noise in the services shaft near the lifts(?)and it varies in volume along the corridor, and even within our room - perhaps the curving ceiling focussed the noise a bit - v... Room I thought was good, modern, smallish but big enough with room for 2 people. But, * no hot water, stayed for 3 nights and didn't get a hot shower, hot water system too small and shared with everyone else. * view of a wall 1m from the window
