We stayed for a week at the end of the monsoon season and had the place almost to ourselves! The bungalow was clean and tidy, the staff were very polite and helpful and the food and drink in the restaurant was of a really high standard - especially the local seafood. We'd probably not go for a jacuzzi bungalow if... More

A beautiful perfect isolated hotel on an isolated island. The location is beautiful, rooms are large, clean and modern. Loved the extra outdoor shower. The pool is beautiful and big enough for a swim. We also had a really powerful Thai massage. We rented a scooter from the reception and travelled around - mobility is a must. The beach isn't... More

Rooms - all the same and all beautiful. No bad room is possible. Even the 3rd row back - cheaper and divine. Pool - beautiful. restaurant - open air and next to sea. Food is wonderful and so affordable. Service - lovely. Not overly gregarious. courteous and polite. Water - there isn't much of a beach but that is probably... More

The hotel does not live up to the presentation shown on its website. This is quite common in Thailand where a couple of seasons of hot sunshine and sea weather can turn a sparkling new compound into quite a drab looking one. We went in August which is off-season so fortunately the hotel was not busy. The pool and surrounding... More

We spent 3 days and 2 nights here. It was truly a hideaway; very quiet and peaceful. The room was big enough with spacious bathroom. Everything was clean and neat. The staffs were friendly. The food was delicious. I will definitely come back here again.

This was a great place to end our trip through SE Asia. Very nice villas and infinity pool. The breakfast was pretty good and the hotel provided us with a cheap, albeit sorta beat up scooter rental. We can't wait to come back next year.

We've literally left Plubpla today and all I can say is our 4 nights here were world class! The service was exceptional as was the food - my partner agrees with the comment further down about it being the best massaman curry shes ever had! We stayed in villa 1 with the private plunge pool that we sat in at... More

We stayed on Koh Mak at the Plubpla Beach Resort for 4 nights after 3 nights on Koh Kood (at the Koh Kood Beach Resort which I highly recommend) I liked the walkways in between rooms (would be dangerous if you had too many drinks ;-) and the room itself was fantastic. Very clean, the most comfortable bed we had... More

Other reviewers were very positive tribute on Plub Pla. I certainly agree with them. Fine bungalows, nice swimming pool, beautiful surroundings. The staff is very helpful. However, I would choose another location for subsequent stays. Indeed, there are other beaches like Ao Kao, where the opportunities for hiking, swimming, kayaking are greater. And even more restaurants in the area can... More
