We stayed at Ao Kao for 3 of the 6 nights we spent on Koh Mak and loved it. The beach is gorgeous (no rubbish in sight and who needs a pool when the water is this inviting), the bungalow huge, decorated well and very comfortable and the staff lovely. Was here before in 2004. End 2010 everything looked even better. Ao Kao Resort had a nice upgrade. Huts are spacious including enormous bathrooms.
