5 star hotel expect large public areas lavishly styled and furnished, tick. Spotless modern rooms, tick. Expansive pools and outdoor areas, tick. Various restaurants with good food, tick....etc etc. It seemed to us that that The Marriott had all the basics you should expect. What makes the difference in a place like this is the service. Unlike most recent reviewers... More

We did not stay at the hotel. We purchased their day pass. It was well worth the 60JD- 35JD could be used towards the pools or as credit towards a spa service & the remaining 25JD can be used towards food and non-alcoholic beverages.

I don't know where to start from! The waiter at the Italian restaurant randomly tells people that the restaurant is fully booked they show up and asks them to sit inside when there was no bookings made! Every single time we ordered room service or had lunch/dinner at one of the 3 poor restaurants we found out that we were... More

Awful food, awful service. The rooms are sub par. This is not a five star hotel. Do not attempt to make a call to cell phones local or otherwise from your room, you will be severely poached. Pools close at sunset.

Strict security on main gates. In a border area. We arrived on a national holiday and it was busy. Stayed two night in absolute luxury. Plenty of choice for restaurant a view to die for across to Palestine. Service perfect in all areas. 3 pools and the beach to choose from with therapeutic mud and ease of flotation. I had... More

Nowhere near enough capacity in pools and surrounding area. 600 rooms, 40 sunlongers? Staff unhelpfull and extremely slow. Prices excessive, happy hour prices not honoured unless you PAY before happy hour ends. Check... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a Gate 1 trip to Jordan. Our tour guide said that this resort was huge and beautiful, and he was not wrong. We enjoyed the amazing views of the Dead Sea and the mountains of Jerusalem, the pools, the food, and the grounds. The hotel also provided rubber shoes for anyone... More

The resort is very impressive and the staff is very attentive to every little details. Our room is facing the pool which is a bit noisy at the day time. But it is fine since we spent most of our time at the pool. I love the infinity pool which overlook Israel. You simply could not miss this amazing experience... More
