I stayed at the Marriott during a recent economic conference, an event which the hotel used as an excuse to more than double its room rates. Fair play of course - if companies/people are willing to pay these exorbitant prices then all the better for the Marriott. But if you're going to charge excessive prices, then at least offer a... All the luxury you could want plus the fun of floating in the Dead Sea. Walk past many pools down to the rocky beach where you dip handfuls from a mud bucket and cover yourself with Dead Sea mud. After it dries, you wash it off at the outdoor shower, and it leaves your skin silky smooth.

This hotel complex is huge. It is lovely and I enjoyed the food as well. The grounds are wonderful, many pools and they have a private beach where you can float in the dead sea. I enjoyed doing that in Jordan better than in Israel (maybe because of the private beach - cleaner and less crowded). They had an awesome... More

Excellent property, very grand and spacious with lots of pools. The staff is mainly very friendly. Philip on the front desk is a star. He is very attentive and accommodating. He heard me talk about having issues with my rent a car , so he took the initiative to call the company and ask for a replacement car! Service like... More

Towards the end of our two week pilgrimage to the Holy Land we stayed two nights at the Jordan Valley Marriott Dead Sea Resort and Spa. It was an elegant hotel. Rooms were nicely furnished and beds were comfortable. The outdoor pools were wonderful.... It is a beautiful resort. We enjoyed floating on the Dead Sea. We also spent some... More

A beautiful hotel with lovely surroundings but not enough sunloungers to go round the guests that were booked in. The happy hour was good but make aure you pay before it ends otherwise you will get charged full price. We were with a group of 17 (we didn't all eat together, we ate in groups) and the service in the... More

Awesome hotel. Breathtaking experience. If you have adventurous taste buds pn your tongue then make sure to taste the salty waters of the dead sea. The access to the beaches is moatly through the hotels and Marriott is probably the best choice.

What a fantastic place to live in for a few months. The staff are excellent and very friendly and I would advice you take advantage of the main entrée bar where drinks are 50% happy two hours from 18h00 to 20h00. Martin is the Barman there and is always ready to go that one step further to make your stay... More
