We stayed at the Summer Otel for a week via Thomsons. It was a package holiday that didn't feel at all like a package. As it was very early in the season in Akyaka the hotel was quiet. We enjoyed the traditional Turkish breakfasts. Our room was tidied/cleaned every day. I understand the reason for the rule about not bringing... More

We have just returned from Akyaka, and had a lovely stay at The Summer Otel. We booked independently and were able to spend 8 nights rather than the usual package of 7 nights. From the start the hotel have been helpful in all communications, they arranged a very reasonably priced taxi from the airport for us. Our double room was... More

This was our first time in Turkey, and we were looking for something that was not Blackpool, but with better weather, and wow did we get it - real Turkish life, very warm welcome, and relaxing. Our room was better than average, with everything you needed, and nothing you didn't. Yes, it was 'no frills' but exactly what we wanted.... More

We spent a week at Hotel Summer in Akyaka, at the end of September. The hotel is situated on a slight hill, perfectly located for the small resort. Down the hill, 10 minute walk to the beach and the main town. Up the hill, 10 minutes to more shops and cafes, and to the left takes you along the river.... More

Summer Hotel is located on the main road into Akyaya, it's in between a school (which plays bizarre piano bursts through a tannoy to announce the start of school, and the beginning and end of lessons) and a fire station, there is also the local bus depot opposite, because of this we found it to be quite noisy most of... We stayed at the Hotel Summer for two weeks in September 2014 for our honeymoon. It is a small, 12 bedroomed hotel in a quiet location, yet only 5 minutes walk from the village centre, up a gentle hill. It was spotlessly clean, we had clean towels every day if we wanted them and bed linen was changed twice a... More

This cute little hotel is a gem, the staff could not do more, the pool is for cooling off, not swimming, there were no children screaming, it is just heaven. If there is a negative, the local school is next door and they don't use a bell between lessons, they play a tune! Starts at 8:30, didn't bother me but... More

This little gem is a real find. On a hill but only five mins walk to the beach or two mins to the Bus. In the most rural laid back location Akyaka. The service from Ferdi was always helpful, he does not speak much English but understand more. The pool was cleaned everyday as were our rooms, clean towels also.... More

Very nicely run small hotel, rooms cleaned daily, facilities good and the staff and owner were very friendly. This is a lovely place to stay in a quieter resort, away from hussle-bussle. Akyaka is great for a chilled laid-back break with good food in the many local restaurants. This place is a perfect position to take advantage of the local... More

A lovely friendly family run hotel, very clean and with all amenities. The breakfasts were good, the rooms looked after very well. Super shower, hair dryer, kettle and fridge. The latter though was switched off along with all the other electricity when the key fob was removed. It would be great if it was on a separate circuit as it... More
