Stayed here for a week in September. Very good small hotel. Quiet location. Good sized room with an amazing shower room. Absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere. Ferdi and Şukran were both lovely and nothing was too much trouble. Our only moan would be the breakfast. Although it was very fresh and well presented every morning, it was far too repetitive. Would... More

What a delightful hotel, small but beautiful! Everything was so comfortable, and the setting is exquisite, in the pine forest! The owners and staff are kindness personified! Ferdi and Shukrram are so friendly, nothing too much trouble, we returned from dinner one evening to discover that in our absence Ferdi has organised repair of my husband's mobility scooter, which had... Excellent small boutique hotel. Lovely room and Good ensuite facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful especially Fergus & Sucram. Good breakfast selection and reasonable bar prices. We will use it again.

I enjoy this slow living town Akyaka, especially for its still undiscovered beauty and unique advantages for kite surfing. Today I encountered a terrible hotel; Summer Hotel which I only spent half an hour in total but it was enough for a sample of shameful (non)service and in humane mentality. The room they sold to us as "family room" was... More

We stayed at the Summer Otel for a week via Thomsons. It was a package holiday that didn't feel at all like a package. As it was very early in the season in Akyaka the hotel was quiet. We enjoyed the traditional Turkish breakfasts. Our room was tidied/cleaned every day. I understand the reason for the rule about not bringing... More

We have just returned from Akyaka, and had a lovely stay at The Summer Otel. We booked independently and were able to spend 8 nights rather than the usual package of 7 nights. From the start the hotel have been helpful in all communications, they arranged a very reasonably priced taxi from the airport for us. Our double room was... More

This was our first time in Turkey, and we were looking for something that was not Blackpool, but with better weather, and wow did we get it - real Turkish life, very warm welcome, and relaxing. Our room was better than average, with everything you needed, and nothing you didn't. Yes, it was 'no frills' but exactly what we wanted.... More

We spent a week at Hotel Summer in Akyaka, at the end of September. The hotel is situated on a slight hill, perfectly located for the small resort. Down the hill, 10 minute walk to the beach and the main town. Up the hill, 10 minutes to more shops and cafes, and to the left takes you along the river.... More

Summer Hotel is located on the main road into Akyaya, it's in between a school (which plays bizarre piano bursts through a tannoy to announce the start of school, and the beginning and end of lessons) and a fire station, there is also the local bus depot opposite, because of this we found it to be quite noisy most of... We stayed at the Hotel Summer for two weeks in September 2014 for our honeymoon. It is a small, 12 bedroomed hotel in a quiet location, yet only 5 minutes walk from the village centre, up a gentle hill. It was spotlessly clean, we had clean towels every day if we wanted them and bed linen was changed twice a... More
