This is a convenient stop over for British travellers heading home, our out, for French vacations. It is less than an hours drive to Calais. We received a warm welcome but the best part of our one night stay was the wonderful food. I've had some great steaks on my travels but this was possibly the best. Perfectly seasoned and... More

We stayed with our large dog for one night on way back to UK after visiting friends. Very happy with location just one hour from Calais in a quiet village with enough space to exercise the dog. The room was relatively basic ( we were ground floor in courtyard) but had everything you needed including a large comfortable bed, spacious... More

I have stayed in this hotel many times and previous stays have always been very good. This time I was allocated suite 16 which is situated at the back of the hotel and above what looks like owner/staff quarters. At 1.00am I was woken up by someone in the house below playing an electric guitar very loudly. They did so... More

We stayed one night on a Demi pension rate, room was large, modern and handy for me on the ground floor. We had a delicious meal, the amuse bouche of savoury cheesecake was special, first courses were lovely, we both had the veal for the main course which was superb and my nougat ice cream desert was scrumptious. Back for... More

We stayed for two nights on the way home from a motoring tour. We were made very welcome, the room was very spacious indeed with an enormous comfortable bed. The evening meals(and no doubt lunch) are superb,we had the half board package ,the second night is 20 euros cheaper. We stayed in one other 3 cooking pot hotel but I think... More

Stayed at the Clos du Moulin for two nights in October on half-board basis. Although we'd previously looked up its exact location we still managed to overshoot the entrance when we first arrived. The hotel and restaurant are set around a courtyard of converted farm buildings. Our room was on the first floor above the reception; very large and clean... More

We chose this hotel because it would accept our dog in both the bedroom and the restaurant. It is just over an hours drive from the Eurotunnel exit and very easy to find leaving the A16 at junction 24. We really enjoyed our Friday & Saturday night stay in mid November. Our courtyard room was large, clean, well furnished and... More

Stayed here overnight in the "disabled room", not that you would realise to look at it. However it was fabulous. Huge bathroom with shower. Raised toilet. Bed was electric which came as a surprise. Fridge had complimentary cold drinks. Would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee (being british) but can understand why not with the quality furnishing. Once inside the... More

The hotel was ideally situated close to the Baie de la Somme and all other interesting places. Not crowed at all. Friendly people, warm welcome. The room was spacious but a little too cold. Would have loved a few pictures on the walls. Cupboard was too small, especially to hang a dress. The food was very good. The wine indeed... More

Recently stayed here overnight on our way back to Calais . Rooms are lovely and dinner was excellent . Wines not cheap ( understatement ) but you can seek out something of value . Breakfast was fine although does not commence until 8.15am which may be a problem for some . Not a budget hotel but well worth a visit... More
