The hotel was spread out and quite disorienting after the travel especially when dark but we settled in quickly. Food and service were good, the room was absolutely huge, not normally a problem but when only there for a couple of days, left a lot of area to leave things !

This hotel is located in the cloud forest of Costa Rica. The hotel is very nice, room was big and comfortable, the included breakfast was the best ever. The staff at the front desk was very helpful. There are many different cloud forest reserves to visit, we especially liked the Curi-Cancha reserve, it is very close to the hotel, and... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and greatly enjoyed it. The room was large and the beds were comfortable. The front desk workers spoke great English and were helpful in booking last minute tours and calling taxis. The included breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel with made to order omelets, beans and rice and fresh fruit. If... More

Went to the much bally-hooed Monteverde cloud forest. It was nice, but no wildlife at all to be seen. It was a 2 km walk to the prk from the hotel. All uphill of course, but hey its the mountains., so its a good location as far as the park was concerned, but not in relation to the town. Worked... More

We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our trip to Costa Rica, it's really close to the Monteverde rain forest so ideally located. We had a junior suite which was spacious with great views of the lush gardens. There was an arch window which wasn't covered by a curtain so we woke at dawn. Wi Fi was limited... More

This is a very nice lodge off the beaten path with beautiful grounds. I missed the fact there was no in-room Wifi (they do have wifi in the office and restaurant). My fault - but you really realize how connected we are - without wifi it was very inconvenient to review activities , restaurants, etc. We were traveling with four... More

Luxury surrounded by the forest. All the staff were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. They gave us a Junior Suite because they had one available. The room was huge! Lots of beautiful wood on the floors and walls. Great paintings on the walls. A lovely property to wander around-the statues spread throughout a fun to discover. We saw leaf cutter ants... More

we ended up staying here 4 nights, extending our stay by two. Rooms are very spacious. Beds and furnishings are in good shape. It's got a lodge layout, with different buildings for the reception, restaurant and rooms. Location is excellent, and it has its own trail which was nice to hike. There was only one draw back, there was no... More

Arriving at the hotel we got a warm welcome and when entering our room we were astonished by the size of it. It looked like a ballroom, with nice wooden floors and two big beds. A nice bathroom made the room complete. Looking out the windows of the room we had a marvellous view on the surroundings, but since it... More
