At yearend I have decided to look back at the year. Our 3 day stay at this location was one we will never forget. To mark a landmark birthday, my wife and I booked the "Grande Fugue" package at the resort. This allowed us the opportuinity to experience multiple aspects of the resort.... the spa, the beautiful gardens and the... More

It is an extraordinary place, only let down by a sub standard breakfast. You pay €21.00 for a bread basket consisting of two dry pieces of toast, two croissants and two cold pancakes. The most overpriced item I have found in any luxury hotel. Also the wifi is very sub standard. Great service and superb food in the restaurant.

We stayed for three nights, mainly because we wanted to eat here. The food did not disappoint and drinks in the beautiful lounge before were a real treat. The restaurant has three Michelin stars so there is no way there is going to be anything wrong with it! We also ate at the Auberge on the Monday night which was... More

Michel Guerard is the man who invented Cusine Minceur - way back in the 80s. The first serious chef to produce outstanding food with fewer calories. He is still doing it today e.g. a 3-course lunch under 600 calories! BUT he is much more than that - at the same establishment his food has earned 3 Michelin stars for 39... More

Stayed only for one night to eat in the restaurant. We went for a room in the main house. The room was nicely decorated in a French country house style. Only real negative was that was a damp stale smell in the room. Would have complained about it and asked too move if we were there longer. But that was... More

Stayed in Maison Rose not in the main hotel as it was less expensive. Overall a very good experience with an enormous comfy bed and kitchen area and good bathroom. However it is not cheap and therefore little things like the fridge door not closing properly should be sorted out. Also if I'm being picky, there should really be a... More

One of my favorite vacations. After a week of treatments, I came home refreshed and restored. The food was excellent -- beautifully presented. Although I had Cuisine Minceur for every meal, I never felt hungry. The treatments in the spa were great as was the service in the hotel.

Greeted at the pergola by the front desk...yes, they walked out to greet us. Made lunch reservations from there and they greeted us by name as we walked in the restaurant minutes later. Relaxing spa appointments followed by a nap outside with gently chirping birds in the background. Pool off the room, gracious hosts at dinner, breakfast in the morning... More

Wonderful accommodation in a charming setting. The rooms are scattered around the huge grounds and they seem to own most of the village. The room was large, airy and well specced. The bed comfortable and large. The bedside lights in common with seemingly every hotel in the world are rubbish and do not allow one person to read and the... More

The few days spent at Pres D'Eugene were some of the most relaxing & elegant I have ever enjoyed. Read other reviews for details of the food & beauty of this magical spot & I adopt and confirm them. The dinners were among the best I have ever enjoyed and the setting as relaxing and informally elegant. M. Guerard came... More
