Stayed here recently with a group of work friends. There were a lot of us travelling together and this hotel was perfectly suited to our needs! We were in the building across the street from the main reception, the rooms were spacious, very clean and airy. The bathrooms were brand new and in immaculate condition. The beds were comfy and... Stayed in Hotel Frederiksborg with a group of 15 work friends. It was located right next to the Basilica. Area was very quiet area, but with really short/ cheap taxi into the city centre and also well served by public transport (metro and tram) As there was a large group of us, and it is a small hotel (5 rooms)... I would recommend this hotel on people who want to spend less money on their stay and use that extra money for fun in Brussels. It's what we did actually. For 50euro per night it was a descent hotel, located in the outskirts of the city center in a really nice area. Access was not a problem because metro is... More

I had some trouble finding this hotel as it is actually about 1km (0.62 mile) away from the Simonis station, whereas the hotel described itself as being 300m from it (at the time of booking). Clean room, reasonably spacious, very quiet. It was hard to shower with the low shower. If you try to raise shower above your head, water... More

Good place for stay, it's near a very nice park and a big church. Around 10 minutes of subway by walking. Restaurant also is good and personnel kindly. It's a little bit difficult with access on stairs to upper rooms, especially when you have large and heavy luggage.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. They were understanding that we didnt speak much french and they spoke English with us. Rooms were nice and big. Nice big bathroom huge shower! 20 euro taxi from city centre but worth the travel. Good value for our money too.

We had a magnificent stay here. The staff were really helpful and always had time to help with our queries. It is slightly out of town, but the missus and I found it perfect to work off those extra calories from enjoying way to many waffles! Also, there is a beautiful basilique over the road and a magnificent park. We... More

The room and the bathroom (it has no shower curtain though) was ok, the staff was helpful, the hotel is not close to the city center and it takes 5-10 minutes to the nearest metro by foot, there was a continuous problem with the internet connection though the connection speed was ok.

In many ways I would like to score the hotel higher; good staff, nice restaurant, pleasant location (if slightly out of town), free wifi (not that we could connect in our room), very clean and good size room. BUT, the beds are the kind of beds used in paediatric hospital wards - you know the ones with a plastic cover... More
