This hotel really tries to put the customer's comfort first, but it just falls a little short on the detail. However, it was more than adequate for an overnight stay where I needed to be close to Gare du Midi. It's clean, unfussy and good value for money. It's not charming but it offers a comfortable stay. It's located in... More

I enjoyed my one night stay at this place, it was clean warm and quiet. Pierre at front desk is such a nice man, he was very helpful and always had a smile on his face. Breakfast was continental and nice, beds and bath rooms where clean too. The hotel is not the best location for sight seeing but it... More

Stayed 2 nights with my wife. Picked the hotel based on TripAdvisor recommendation. Located in a quite neighbourhood 15 mins walk from Gare de Midi & + 5 minutes from Grand Place. 5 minute walk from # 82 tram to Gare de Midi from Orban stop. Rooms basic and very clean. Nice to have a safe, fridge and tea service... More

Chose this hotel as it was conveniently situated to the Forest National theatre venue. Like many other tripadvisor reviews, we found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and very helpful. Hotel itself is a little tired. There was an odd stale smell in the 2nd floor corridor (stale smoke perhaps?). Room was basic and the mattresses on the beds were... More

first, the rooms in the hotel are modernized, clean, spacious by Euro standards and otherwise above average. The beds are good. The woman at the desk was pleasant, efficient, friendly and helpful. And our room was ready early. But that is pretty much the end of the good parts. For touring Brussels as a visitor this was a poor choice.... More

This hotel is situated in a quiet neighbourhood away from the main tourist area but that was not a problem to me. During my stay, it was a good one because it's reasonably priced, its breakfast is good and the room was clean. Going to the Grand Place is not difficult by tram and it's close to the Central Station.... More

I was pleasantly surprised to see the personal service offered by the hotel. After a long and tired day, the front desk girl, Xena (yes, like the warrior princess), only much more polite and sweet. She went the extra mile in helping us with good information and a smiling face. The rooms were good. Works for a quick weekend visit.... More

We stayed here in January 2014 for one night. The booking from Germany was without any problems. The hotel looks a little bit old from the outside and the neighborhood seems not really safe at the first sight. But the people on the street were very friendly and helpful. The room was really nice and clean, it looks much newer... More

Being a light sleeper, rest is very important for me. Which I'd say I managed fairly in this hotel. There are the normal rubbish pick-up trucks around 7:30 a.m. (depending on which part of the street your room is), but that hour is a reasonable waking one. Accommodation, breakfast and wi-fi make this hotel the best choice in this price... More

In a city with plenty of expensive choices that are rather poor, you will get your money worth here. Having been about a dozen times in Brussels over the last decade for work, I have always been quite surprised what a rather poor quality even the fairly expensive hotels have. Now I found my solution: the Hotel de Fierlant. This... More
