Excellent staff, very kind, polite and helpful. Even I did not ask, I was upgraded to double room free of charge. Room was clean and comfortable. Surrounding area - perfect, very quiet. Definitely to recommend for a short stay.

I stayed in Derby hotel for one night in april 2014. Mainly due to the fact that all hotels in the vicinity were full (EU district), or had incrediblly high prices. I payed 139 eur, which is very high for a bit run down hotel. I didnt read any of the reviews before today, maybe i wouldnt even book the... More

I've stayed at some very basic hotels in small, run-down rooms. I have simple needs and I'm not picky, so when I say this is bad, you can trust me. First of all, the room layout is absurd. You literally cannot get from one side of the room to the other without walking on the bed or the table because... More

I have visited this hotel for the second time during business trip in September 2013. But this second experience was terrible night mare. Bed bugs bit me on face, neck and hands. My recommendation is to step aside room number 18. My reservation has been done via Booking.com that is why I gave the note on my story on Booking.com... More

New ownership when we were there in August this year. This hotel will hopefully be upgraded in the near future it was pretty basic but clean and friendly. Hanif was the receptionist and couldn't have been more helpful. The new owner was also friendly and helpful. We had problems with visas and couldn't go on to our country of destination... More

This hotel is not someplace to take your girlfriend if you're wanting to impress her, but if you need a place to stay for the night, with no particular frills, and a low-cost clean room, I would say that room #3 should do the trick. You're not going to get a more basic hotel; this is not a place to... More

Good central location (Metro Merode), very basic room. When arriving in the evening, we were told that late checkout would be free of charge by a friendly receptionist. The next morning, another receptionist said "the previous receptionist was mistaken". Late checkout would cost 50€ extra.

I visited this hotel last year in June. I spent there two nights. The location is great - close to metro station and EU institution. The condition of hotel is elder. The rooms are tidy and the furniture is useful. But please don't expect any luxury! This hotel is good just for sleeping and nothing more. I think that I... More

It is a really poor hotel. It doesn't worth even to comment on it. Unless you have to stay in the railroad station, avoid! I had to spend 2 nights, because of our admin assistant, who did the booking. The hotel is dirty and noisy. they will charge you as you enter, so that they take the money. My advice:... More

Quite low cost hotel very close to metro station. Everything is small there including the smallest lift I ever seen (just for one person). Beware of winter time because usually heating is not working and there is no hot water - you have to find somebody from personnel (its not easy) and persuade to fix it. The most amazing thing...
