In one word: Vile. (If you decide to go, little tip - ask for a room in the NEW BUILDING, old building is bad, as you'll find out if you read below). Location was about a 10-15 minute walk from the Grand-Place, 5 minute from Gare du Midi. Tram station 2 minute walk away. This hotel was absolutely disgusting. It... More

When you step out of the Gare du Midi and walk in the direction of the hotel, you don't get a good first impression of Brussels. Indeed, the Floris Ustel Midi is not in the best location in the city. Next to an extremely busy road with a junction seemingly always jammed, it's not in the charming area of Belgium's... More

This is a very basic hotel, with limited appliances. My main concern was the lack of customer service we encountered. Upon arrival we went to the main desk where a gentleman refused to acknowledge us for at least 10 minutes. This trend continued for the duration of our stay. The reason I have not rated this 1 star is because... More

This hotel is pretty basic. It's cheap and that's what you're getting. The hotel staff are friendly enough. The room I was in was a good size but was very basic, no fridge or tea tray. There is also no air con, which was not good on the hot humid nights, resulting in me sleeping with a wet towel to... More

We spent just two days (one night) in Brussels so didn't need anything too fancy in regards to accomodation - lucky, as this hotel is really basic!! Room wasn't ready on arrival (general check in is around 3pm), was able to store luggage in small cupboard! Room was small but enough, shower head at wrong end of bath/shower screen! Location... I was scared to come to this hotel after reading all the negative reviews. So personally I think it depends on ur personal preference. We stayed in room 606 which I think is part of the just renovated part because u can still smell the wood. The AC didnt wk and no wifi in room. The room was big and had... More

When we arrived our room was not ready and when you are in a tight schedule this is a big issue. The elevator is suffocating, I think we had the room in the newer part of the hotel, so the size was not an issue. Close to a tram station, although transportation in Brussels is generally confusing. On the good... More

First of all, we had a "superior room". Superior? It was impossible not to hit the ceiling with your head, and the room was so small that the drawer on the bedside table couldn't be opened, because it hits the closet. The window couldn't be fully opened, and it was super small and oriented to a emergency staircase. Also, the... More

Probably depends on whether you are in new or older part. Un fortunately we were in older section. Firstly the lift is a squeeze with 2 people and 2 bags. Our bedroom was a little bigger. On a cold night an extra blanket would have been appreciated but it was not available until next day. Same with the pillow and... More

The service is horrible, the receptions agresive and rude. The gave us a room in the "white" wing - there was no air to breathe ( although the weather outside was cold) You couldn't stay in the hollway or in the room, it was suffocating. We went down to ask if they could change the room, they said NO because... More
