I was a single traveller from Australia and Paris was the 4th city on my trip. I stayed for 8 days at La Guriniere and LOVED IT. I unexpectedly had a friend join me for a few nights and Micheline was most accomodating. The BnB was extremely comfortable and a welcoming place to return to after a day of sightseeing.... more

Perfect place for first-time Paris visitors. Close to Metro, extremely helpful hosts, delicious breakfasts, beautiful garden setting. Would definitely stay again. more

Staying at La Guriniere is like staying with good friends or close relatives in terms of the accommodations and especially the hospitality. From the fantastically comfortable rooms to the homemade croissants, everything was as reviewed by others. From the moment we arrived to the day we (reluctantly) had to leave, Micheline and Jean Paul were attentive to our every needs.... more

I stayed six days with Micheline and Jean Paul, it's a pity I couldn't stay longer. They have a beautiful home and they treat their guests wonderfully well. The house with it's beautiful garden is located close to the station and it's only a few minutes on the Metro before you are in the middle of Paris. Micheline's breakfasts are... more

Just returned from a great stay at La Guriniere, just outside of Paris. Micheline and Jean Paul are excellent hosts and made us feel at home immediately. The bedroom was bright, cosy and spacious, the shower was large, hot and powerful and the breakfast was as described by many other visitors - plenty of orange juice, hot drinks, lovely bread... more

My husband and I stayed at La Guriniere over the New Year's holiday, it was perfect. The pictures we had seen online are accurate, and it truly is easy to get to. The walk to the metro takes less than five minutes, and the ride to any of the tourist spots is quick. The breakfasts were as described and tasty,... more

My husband and I stayed at La Guriniere at the beginning of January 2009 as part of a 5 week holiday in the UK and Paris. I had read fantastic reviews on Trip Advisor regarding this accommodation and I wasnt disappointed. Michelle and Jean-Paul were lovely people. They welcomed us with enthusiasm and excellent service. Michelle's breakfasts (all homemade) were... more

Micheline & John Paul are excellent hosts and made our visit to Paris very enjoyable. The guest house was very comfortable, clean & an excellent breakfast. The B & B is only a short walk to the Metro (line 13) then only 15 mins. to the centre of Paris. It was very easy to get to any parts of Paris. more

A very friendly B&B, Micheline went out of her way to make us feel at home. She is very easy to talk to, especially as she speaks fluent English. The metro is less than a 10 minute walk away, then a quick train ride into the centre of Paris. Cheaper & more pleasant than staying in the centre of Paris.... more

After all the hustle and bustle of our wedding, stepping into the courtyard of La Guriniere was like stepping into another world. Micheline's beautiful garden, the adorable country-house feel of the guest-house, the exposed stone wall of the "yellow room", it was exactly what we wanted. We spent 4 nights in Paris before heading off to Amsterdam and then Jamaica,... more
