The hotel is in a great location (Brunswick, close to Sydney Rd) and the room was large and pleasant. Friendly staff. I just felt the price did not reflect the amenities and REALLY poor wifi connection. Wasnt the best and wasnt the worst. Just would have rather have stayed in a mixed dorm room or at The Nunnery or somewhere... More

We have stayed at the Dolma several times and been happy enough with the quality of rooms and service. This last time however(early August 2015) we have been totally disillusioned. Our allocated room for 2 nights was NOISY being at the front on the street. We could barely get any sleep both nights from the happenings outside. The daily servicing... More

Its got everything if u have to stay at night and do your routine. I didn't expected it to be a luxury hotel at the price paid but it was not what i expected it to be. Anyways i was here just to spend a night. Corridor was a bit noisy.

and certainly won't be staying there again! I know other people who have stayed there and thought it was ok, but perhaps they had a nicer room than mine. The bathroom was reasonably ok, but the carpet in the bedroom was old and stained, to the point where I didn't want to walk on it with bare feet! There was... More

The Dolma Hotel is a basic 3 star property and has everything you need unless you plan on spending your visit in your room! It was spotlessly clean, beds comfortable, and our room was surprisingly large. The staff were considerate and helpful, and the location was extremely convenient. Parking was free and secure so you could wlak up or down... More

We stayed at the Dolma Hotel about four weeks ago when attending the AAAA Trade show. The staff were very helpful and all seemed to be from one family. We were upgraded to a family room as a twin was not available at short notice. This is not a flashy hotel, but clean, affordable and the beds were very comfortable.... More

Excellent staff and very considerate by letting me checked-in 2 hours earlier as I told them that I was exhausted after a long flight. Also, they told me that if we book longer and coming from overseas, they will give us the best room with a very good wifi reception. How thoughtful of them. And the room did not disappoint.Bed... To find a hotel not far from the CBD with free wi-fi and free off-street parking for under $100 is worth celebrating. When it comes with a decent sized bathroom (including a good shower) and a comfortable bed we’ll be sure to come back.

We 2 of us stayed here during the cricket world cup for 3 days from 20-22 feb. This was the best and cheap deal I've ever got. Excellent room, very friendly and helpful staff, 20 min drive from the airport (35 AUD for taxi), tram station is very near. 25 min tram travel to the flinders street. They have kept... More

The staff were awesome and the room was clean. It was quiet ... except for the gentle rumbling of the trams ... and that was just a little reminder that we were away on holiday, in Melbourne. An interesting fact is that Melbourne is the only city in Australia which retains a network of trams. Beds were comfortable. Well located... More
