I recently stayed at Hotel Casco with a group of teachers visiting our sister school in San Isidro. The hotel is beautiful, rooms clean and comfortable, and breakfasts delicious. It is located around the corner from the San Isidro cathedral and plaza where you can find an artisans market on Saturdays, and only a short walk to downtown San Isidro... More

I just spend 2 nights in this wonderful place! Great atmosphere, lots of impressions... You feel as being in an other world, where history becomes real... I hope to have the opportunity to come back again...

The Del Casco is like stepping back in time and has all the amenities and comfort one would need and it's an especially nice change of pace for the business traveler (very quiet). I use to like to stay in the downtown Recoleta area until a business colleague of mine suggested the Del Casco to me (because it was near... More

We stayed for a few days during a family visit to Buenos Aires, and it was such a good choice! Hotel del Casco is quite a contrast to Buenos Aires - while Buenos Aires is incredibly busy, the hotel is like very peaceful. Located in the center of Buenos Aires's San Isidro district, Hotel del Casco is like an old... More

Many times have we've stayed at El casco. teh hotel is an old family house, palace type, that has been refurbished, still, it has a flair to it. The employees are still the same after many years, they know their customers, and remember your preferences. the garden area iand patio are beautiful It is not a chain hotel, don't visit... More

My husband stayed here for a month; I joined him for the last 10 days. He was in Room 26 on the 2nd floor in the back. We were in Room 23 directly below. The rooms were spacious with very high ceilings (15 ft?). The bed comfortable with puffy pillows. Nice sitting area with a couch, table, and 2 chairs.... More

My husband and I stayed in one of the interior rooms (#4), right off the main room. We did not have problems with noise however the building seems pretty empty. We enjoyed the local craft market and strolling through town. There was only one thing that irritated me - the water pressure / temperature during the afternoon. You have to... More

Everything is functional for a business traveler. The building is gorgeous. Spacious rooms that are quiet BUT ENSURE you book a room away form the main lobby area where guests walk through to get to their rooms. Insist in advance to book "in the back" or don't book. The included breakfast includes eggs cooked your way. The pool is cute.... More

This hotel is well off the main part of BA in the northern suburbs. It is an old house with a couple of annexes. I stayed two nights - the place looks nice in general. However a few things make this a strange experience. In check in, without asking the staff charged all nights accommodation full change without asking. This... More

This place is fantastic. We've stayed in many hotels in the BA area and this is by far the best we have found, and we will definitely be coming again. The hotel is simply lovely- its an old mansion converted into a hotel, beautifully appointed with antiques that reflect the golden age of Argentina. The decoration and furnishings maintain the...
