It was like one of those holiday camps you see in a Carry on movie. My wife and I used our timeshare week here and regretted it instantly. On arriving they squeezed another €50 out of us so we could the pool and the bus to the beach. Then informed us it would be €13 a day to rent the... More

We were at the Alessidamo Club in Metaponto during the first week of July. We were not sure what to expect as we had seen some reviews that indicated the resort was lacking in a number of areas. Well we were pleasantly impressed by the resort from the moment of our arrival. The Italian southern hospitality that we experience was... More

We exchanged our beautiful villa in Jomtien , Thailand for a week here. If one would pay a low price for a week here it would be acceptable, but Interval promised much more than this. Living room, bedroom and toilet/bathroom were very small. Other rooms ok, concerning´cleanliness, except the shower that had mold. Cleaning of the room was only done... More

We swapped our time share and was very disappointed. Rooms were basic. The restaurant had no atmosphere and the food was very bland. The resort is in the middle of nowhere so a car is a must.

My first experience using a time share and i must say never again! A family member let us buy her points on her time share to go to Italy and I must say this was the biggest waste of money! The "resort" had no AC, they made us buy cards to use the pool and bus to the beach, the... More

I were unsure about staying at the Allesidamo Club, because of some of the bad reviews here, but I needn't of worried. We're a family of 2 adults and 2 young children (Ages 3 and 9), and stayed in a 2 bed unit. I also invited my in-laws who stayed in a one bed unit. The units are quite basic... More

We booked this place based on only 1 picture which was all that was supplied, it was sub standard, the soap dish was cracked, the 1 shower/bathroom for 4 people was so small that if you dropped the soap you couldn't bend down and pick it up, I weigh 50 kilos and I was cramped in the shower, we had... We used this as our time share week. I could not find a lot about this resort, so I thought I would share our trip to get more info out there. We stayed in a two bedroom villa. Yes in the second bedroom there are bunk beds and then in the front living area are two couches, one pulls out... More

Very relaxing place but sometimes very boring. You have to hire a car so that you can visit various interesting places such as Albero Bello, Castellana Grotte. Staff very helpful but restaurant menu is poor and expensive

Our party of four mature adults enjoyed a week here in early Sept. 2006. It's an ideal base to travel to the ancient ruins spread around. Visits to Matera, Potenza, Montescaglioso, Craco and Castelmezzano are a must. That is if you have a set of wheels. Meta ponto lido it's self, is only a very small resort catering mainly for... More
