i spent a great week, the beach is superb. To all travellers be aware there are 3 barcelo's in punta umbria the newest being Dunas. They are building a fourth one. Although i reserved in Beach they put us in Dunas, witch is a conference hotel, making me to walk 1/2 mile, every day to go to the pool area.... more

Stayed here for a conference. Be aware that there are many Barcelo properties in Punta Umbria, the Beach Resort being the newest. Absolutely terrible hotel. Location isn't by the beach - you have to go out the hotel, turn left, down the road, right at the roundabout... views only of the pool or the mall across the street. Poor design... more

A short stay. First room unsatisfactory but staff willingly changed it. Food average, location good with nice surrounding walks but staff were very busy all the time. Working in Huelva, needed an overnight stay, unable to park anywhere near the NH in Huelva, so followed the signs to Punta Umbria, only about 10 minutes on good roads.
