'The Firs' proudly displays it's Tripadvisor certificate of excellence in the dining room. £75 for our twin room and breakfast we thought a bargain. It was absolute luxury, the towels were so fluffy, the bed firm and the duvet feather, our ensuite shower room was so clean your could have eaten your dinner in there with the shower water set... A beautiful and peaceful B and B very close to Blair Castle. The town and surroundings are full of hiking and biking paths with charming surprises around every corner. The hostess Kirstie is an angel. We arrived road weary and she welcomed us warmly, making us feel immediately comfortable. Despite full occupancy it was quiet and cozy. We never wanted... More

This is a brilliant little guest house in Blair Atholl. Kirstie and Geoff could not have been more caring and helpful. Running a B+B is, for them, clearly not a business but a vocation. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, and breakfast was wonderful. We'll definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

My husband and I have just returned for a lovely five days break at The Firs Guesthouse. We decided to travel by train to Blair Atholl and it was lovely to be picked up by Geoff and back to The Firs in minutes and a very warm welcome. We have stayed at The Firs Guesthouse with hosts Geoff and Kirstie... More

Geoff and Kirstie run a super guest house that offers a great breakfast and has well appointed rooms. I stayed there whilst on my solo lejog bike ride and arrived early evening and the central heated room and super shower were rejuvenating! The bed gave a great nights sleep too. The pub adjacent to the hotel serves a great pint... More

Thanks - we'll stick with our local butcher for the bacon! Our log stove works hard in the Autumn and Spring (we re-open mid March) but we love it and glad you did too. More

Stayed for 2 nights recently. Felt very welcome. The lounge (with a lit wood burning stove) was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was very enjoyable. Breakfast was super, Kirstie and Geoff use local produce where possible. My husband would like me to mention that the bacon was very tasty.

We were made very welcome by Kirsty and Geoff. Pleasantly surprised to be put in a nice Family room. Lots of space for the two of us. Lots of guests on the Saturday night and we still got a great nights sleep in the cosy bed. Did not hear anyone else moving about or flushing toilets etc. Fantastic soundproofing. Breakfasts... The Firs is a great place to stay, Kirsty and Geoff are both very welcoming, it felt more like staying in a friends house than being in a guesthouse. Good choice for breakfast, and secure parking for our bikes. Couldn't ask for anything else.
