We were made very welcome by Kirsty and Geoff. Pleasantly surprised to be put in a nice Family room. Lots of space for the two of us. Lots of guests on the Saturday night and we still got a great nights sleep in the cosy bed. Did not hear anyone else moving about or flushing toilets etc. Fantastic soundproofing. Breakfasts... More

Almost "home from home now" and like visiting best friends! Kirstie and Geoff are so welcoming and as in March review breakfast is excellent and rooms exceptionally cosy...and quiet. Daughter , grandchildren and dog accompanied me in July for my 2nd stay and also enjoyed their 2 nts there ...12 yr old grandson declaring "that was the best cooked breakfast... More

The Firs is a great place to stay, Kirsty and Geoff are both very welcoming, it felt more like staying in a friends house than being in a guesthouse. Good choice for breakfast, and secure parking for our bikes. Couldn't ask for anything else.

Our third stay with Kirsty and Geoff and since we found it, The Firs will always be our place to stay when in the area or heading for the Highlands. You couldn't get a nicer reception or comfier room anywhere in our opinion and the breakfasts are super. We always look forward to staying there.

We got a very warm welcome by Kirstie and Geoff and saved our day as we had a problem with being double booked at another establishment and upon arriving at The Firs, we were made to feel very welcome and they managed to give us a room at such short notice. Thank you both, your guesthouse is lovely and very... More

The Firs really lived up to the excellent reviews. We spent a week here and could not have found a better place to stay. Kirstie and Geoff are very kind and attentive hosts and really looked after us well. Our room was comfortable and spacious and breakfast was generous setting us up for the day. Kirsten also makes jewellery which... More

This is our sort of B&B. The room and public areas were beautifully kept. The decor is traditional but in a natural, homely and low-key way, not all stag heads and tartans. Kirsty and Geoff are perfect hosts and so helpful. Our room was excellent and comfortable. The breakfast is perfect with a lot of choice. It is easy to... More

Me and my parents stopped over for 2 nights whilst visiting family in the area. From the start to finish we were made to feel very welcome. My room was large and spacious. The hostess Kirsty is kind and caring, going out of her way to help or answer any questions. The breakfast is delicious and I would highly recommend.... More
